What kind of mobile phone do you have?

What kind of mobile phone do you have? See the poll for options.

I went through four or five Android phones and one iPhone (each of which was stolen from me or I lost, due to me being too drunk on nights out.) I'm currently on the iPhone 5S. I don't go out drinking anymore, so I figured it was safe enough to get one.

Software-wise, I love how Windows phones look. I love the layout on the screen. It's probably my favourite layout of all OS's (Android, iOS, etc...) but I've never chosen one over apple/android because I want access to more apps. I like being able to check out smaller, newer kinds of apps that generally have only been developed for iOS and Android.

What phone do you have and what do you like/dislike about it and do you plan on getting a totally different kind of phone on your next purchase?

Edit: I can see it now. Carry on.

Needs an option "I don't have nor want a smartphone. Mine goes for 10 to 14 days of routine use between charges".

I have that one too. It also folds, for easier transport.

That option is there. In multiple forms.

I had an iPhone before anyone else I knew had one(like when the iPhone 3GS was the ****). But went to the iPhone 4S and Samsung S4. Which was amazing until some **** stole it. Once you use a 5 inch screen you literally cant use an iPhone. Plus Cameras are amazing on android phones.

I was back on my iPhone 3GS for the last month as my Samsung was robbed and its unbelievable ****. Its incredible how quickly phones change

    A dual sim Samsung yoke.

I had an indestructible phone but I accidentally washed it in the washing machine. :(

Mine does that too. My new one also sends texts, which sounds a bit flashy, but I'm getting the hang of them. I reckon they will catch on eventually. Technology, eh? Marvelous.

    Samsung (Note 3).

I like big screens and the android OS. It's also handy to he able to root the phone.

I suspect the painfully self conscious war of ironic low tech phone boasting is going to get out of hand on this thread to the point where somebody will hilariously claim to have a coin op payphone they carry around in a rucksack.

I use this instead of a phone, does the job well while in the car driving and it connects to the home phone to make calls :D

Lumia 800, for now it's enough to get me by but have to criticise its short battery life, unreliable YouTube, frequent cutting out + crashing and not having access to Android apps.

S3 Mini. I love it but it's getting old. I'm thinking of upgrading to the next Nexus in the autumn.

iPhone 5S here, it's my fourth iphone, had two 3GS's and a 4S, I love it, I was one of the first people I knew to have a smart phone and honestly couldn't love without it now, it just makes everything easier, I'm so embedded in a IOS ecosystem app wise now it would be just too much hassle to switch to another, if I was though I would go windows phone, android just doesn't have that polished feel for me.

Samsung Galaxy Mini. Good little phone. I've had it for about 3 years now and my only complaint is the somewhat lacklustre battery life. I'm lucky if I get a day out of one charge. :/
Hoping to get a new phone in the summer as it's long overdue for an upgrade.

If you are that into your apps i wouldn't go windows very limited.

These threads always attract the hipsters, proudly boasting about their antique, indestructible brick mobiles, and lack of technological knowledge as though it's something to be proud of.

There should be some kind of charity exchange, where we all donate our old smartphones, to be handed out to all you digital homeless.

Acer Liquid Z3 (Android). So far it's exceeded my expectations in every way, particularly its performance, and all for €60. It's small but nippy.

iPhone 5S. Previously had an iPhone 4 and some Symbian based Nokias (6680 and N86) before that.

I wouldn't trust myself with an Android phone as I went through a phase of tinkering with firmware and bricked a couple of phones in the process, Motorolas in particular. So that's why I went for something that I couldn't fiddle with.

Nokia Lumia 925, love this phone. Had 3 android phones before this and every one of them slowed to a crawl after a couple of months, so think I'll be sticking with windows for my next phone as well.
