I'll be starting the cull of my Everton trio with Baines out to either Sagna or a super cheapie depending on who else I'm looking to sign for DGW37.

Baines to Sagna is a likely one for me too

With Rooney potentially gone for the season rvp is actually back on my radar for the last 2 GWs. Him fit and up top with Mata in number 10 spot could be lethal if he's looking to get set for the World Cup with a bang.

    Depends if I'm still chasing.

Hazard to Mata, or Hazard to Gerrard.
Hazard has to go, he did well but with CL ahead and an injury it is time to go.

Any word on RVP return yet?
Can imagine a more lethal partnership between himself and Mata, more natural talent to tap into.

Rooney potentially gone for the season? Have I missed something?

I have £7.6m in the bank! Will be doing Mata in for Colback

Unsure what I'll follow this up with now that Rooney is likely out. All my transfers were geared around him.

Would that one not be better held off one week?

Possibly Baines or Coleman out for an Arsenal defender (if Kos plays against West Ham). Otherwise bank it and then get a ManU defender in the following GW.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,255 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

Probably Mirallas out for Mata. 3 Everton so need to start getting rid of them.

See general thread. Lots of paper talk about it yesterday.

Meanwhile I posted a story frm Sky I think on the Run In thread where Moyes was hoping RVP might make the Norwich game, so I'd expect there's a chance he could at least make the DGW.

All aboard the RVP train if Rooney is out

    Depending on performances...

    Ramsey/Lallana/Henderson out, Mata in.

    Dzeho out, Aguero in.

mirallas out, eriksen in i'd say

Need to ditch JRod. Possibly thinking of gambling on Shane Long

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

lukaku to ade or baines to cahill.

harry kane 4.4mil 2 from 2 for spurs has played 90 mins the last 2 games and they have 4 good fixtures to finish.

Striker isn't really the sort of position you look for value from in this game. Instead you look for 3 guys you expect to rack you up 10+ scores often enough.

Mirallis out, biggest failed transfer of the season.... Ericksen in as i fancy Spurs to do a job on Fulham.

I wont be going for him but could be a decent option for some people that are going 3 5 2 or had someone like jay rod or a lower budget. He could also be useful for people looking at getting rvp in. If he continues playing up front for one of the top 7 teams in the league he will be a good option for some people.

Don't worry buddy, those people don't need advice, they're already out of contention anyway.

Can people please leave the Mirallas out thing to next Friday? Need him to go up 0.1m so I can do him to Mata. Cheers!

ha ha thats true in most cases. I can see lad winning my money league doing dzeko and lukaku out kane and aguero in. He is on 60 transfers now and top 10k.Only has a 105 million budget. It defies FF logic what he is doing logs in every sat morning makes 2 transfers and waits for the points to roll in.

Depending how Aguero plays tomorrow, I'll be looking to bring him in for Lukaku, the question is though would you swap Silva for Mata or Eriksen?

Eriksen is the better bet for this week, but after that you'd be wanting Mata. If you can arrange it to work that way, then you should be flying

Yea had a second look at it, and has to be Eriksen, and then following week will probably do Gerrard to Mata.

I can see everyone getting Smalling in for their DGW - he is only 4.7 now and has fairly good chance of playing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,981 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Mirallas to Mata I think. Would leave me with:

    Mannone
    Azpi Baines Zab (Ward/Chester)
    Gerrard Eriksen Mata Yaya (Colback)
    Aguero Lukaku Suarez

Plan was to downgrade Baines and upgrade Lukaku to Rooney for GW37 so not really sure what I'll do now. A punt on Hernandez would make things interesting...

    Down to 4.6 tonight....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

    Mannone, Adrian

    Ward, Zabaleta, Coleman, Bennett, Dummett

    Hazard, Mata, Jedinak, Silva, Toure

    Sturridge, Suarez, Lukaku

2 FTs, £1.0m in the bank

    Thinking Hazard out for Eriksen

Possibly have to dump Sturridge & Toure too. Must wait for more news on that one.

    Any other suggestions?

    change of plans now

Brendan Rodgers says Daniel Sturridge has "a wee bit of tightness in his hamstring". "We'll see over the next couple of days."

    And more changes

Need to ship out Yaya, Hazard & Sturridge. Not sure who to bring in yet but that's 31m to play with :)

He said he doesn't expect ya ya for the next game not the season!

Hopefully Studge makes it for Norwich. Otherwise Yaya to Mata and Studge to Aguero for -4.

hmmm hazard might have earned a reprive. todays results mean Chelsea are right back in the title race (I fully expect Liverpool to see it out) but both clubs are in a position that if they win their last 4 games they're champions.

so jose might not rotate his players as much either side of the champions league matches. they need to beat sunderland Saturday to pile pressure on Liverpool and as today proved, hazard is key to that. they were quite fortunate in the goal they got against a 10 man Swansea so I reckon if hazard is fit enough to play he'll start him. Has there been an official word on his injury yet?

plus if yaya is out for the remaining games he'll be first to go over hazard and I'm also not loving Lallana's remaining fixtures although due to transfers needed elsewhere he might stick around.

Hazard could be a nice differential now with so many people ditching him last week so will keep him until he's definetley ruled out. (and even then, if I've to get rid of yaya I might just bench hazard rather than take a hit to get rid)

Mata most likely player in although possibly eriksen with mata coming in the following week. can't see united doing much away to everton.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,274 ✭✭✭✭FHFC

The Chilean told Sky Sports: "It's difficult for Yaya to be in the next game. We will see tomorrow, I don't know how serious he is injured."I think it will be difficult for him to finish playing this season"

    Not looking so good.

Hogey Chelsea still need city to drop points to win the league not that it makes much of a difference to your plans.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,255 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

I reckon Chelsea could beat Liverpool at Anfield. Jose is a genius at tactics against the other top sides.

It's their performances away to mid table clubs that have killed them this season.

You are correct, I was just looking at them finishing ahead of liverpool if they win their remaining 4. City do have a very tricky game at goodison though so I still think they'll put out their strongest 11 v Sunderland and if hazard is fit I think he'll start.

I'm going to really consider Salah over the next week, briefly crossed my mind last week too. He was a little erratic today but he was getting and creating chances, on another day Chelsea could have capitalised. With him being ineligible for the CL he should be more likely of league starts and is only 5.5.

Thinking the same. Salah- Mirallas sounds good. Anyone have news on Rooney?

Players are dropping like flies and price rises/drops at this stage are insignificant.

All my future transfers will be completed on Friday nights at the earliest.

By the time you can get one in they will only have five left. Just one extra on other teams.

Is Pellegrini doing another red herring with the Toure injury I wonder....

My dilemma at the moment is to either sell Toure or Hazard for Eriksen. It could fund the purchase of any Chelsea defender for Ryan Bennett.

Is Eriksen defo going up tonight?
Think I'm going to do Toure to him, and then depending how Aguero does on Wednesday get him for Lukaku or Sturridge if his injury is bad.

How did Adebayor play at the weekend, I know he missed a peno, but did he look interested or just lazy around. They have some nice fixtures left.

I don't think so, looked like a groin strain to me and they usually take at least a couple of weeks to heal.
