Dynax S50 has been on the site for a while now.

The Incredimitts are very good - Im sure plenty will attest to this. The bit extra in price compared to some other mitts, say the Meguiars at 18/19 quid, is definitely worth it.
That said; some arent won over because of the built in sponge that holds a lot of water, making it feel quite heavy for the first few uses, but you get used to it - the Incredisponge is another option, a built in sponge within the microfiber file, that you hold as opposed to putting your hand into like a mitt - its smaller and thus holds less water but more manageable for those who dont like the extra weight.

What about the triggers with extension tube, they wont send them to private customers, 5 quid of plastic lol

Sponge doesn't bother me, give me more muscles :pac:, its the paying 15/17 euro for a mitt that used to last months on end but now shows signs of death after 2/3 wash's now that bugs me.

I meant Heavy Duty Citrus - was talking and typing and Vectra's post was in the back of my mind using predictive next word, and Citrus and Pre Wash are often used words on my phone so when I hit Citrus, I instinctively hit Pre Wash :o

What are these air bombs you speak about ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,920 ✭✭✭✭MetzgerMeister

It's an aerosol can that you activate like a grenade kind of. As in once you activate it you can't stop it until it's finished. It emits all over the interior of your car and you leave it like that for a certain length of time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 853 ✭✭✭edburg

Aye emits a concuction of misty liquid that air con sucks through its system to kill germs that build up in system and leaves a citrusy scent behind.

Got to be better than german stuff micks garage sell that leave car smelling like chemical bomb hit it and makes it impossible to breath in it for couple hours.

    Ah.
    I know them now.
I saw them as odor bombs.
Might actually get one because I have a weird thing hapening in my car. If I leave it for say a day and a half to two days. Come along, get into it all is grand. Satrt the engine, all still grand. After about 10~15 seconds there is a bit of a stink comes out of the vents. Hard to describe it but it smells not good.
Maybe I should try one and see how it goes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 853 ✭✭✭edburg

Bad eggs in vents, get same one in passing. Was told what it was years ago but life of cant remember what it was, something to do air con just cant remember what though.

I not going to Auschwitz but yes it defo not good for lungs nearly choke when you dive in to open windows to clear air.

That would be great if you have one but you will be ok the other way also once you check them again after a 100 or so just to be sure.

    Applicator pad

    cheers,
    any tips?
    panel by panel?
    circular motion?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,377 ✭✭✭Curran

When you apply it, do it in circular motion.
When to buff it off will depend on the ambient conditions - the best way to check and its the same for waxes and sealants - is to use your finger to wipe the surface; if it all comes off without smearing, its cured and can be buffed.

so apply with an applicator pad,
    and buff with microfiber?

Sick as a dog. Put a plastic bottle of milk onto the passenger seat tonight as I got into the car in a garage, drove home and somehow the seal on the milk was loose, dripped onto the seat, down the back of the seat base, onto the plastic housing on the floor and into some of the car carpet. Went at it with leather cleaner, scrubbed the floor with soapy water and a nail brush and dabbed the wet area with kitchen towel. I hope to God it doesn't stink of milk when it dries in, I will cry uncontrollably.

Baking soda on the affected area should help to eliminate the smell.

Also try not to scrub, best to dab a paper towel or sponge to soak up the milk.

Happened me one time as well.
I got a product called Bio Brisk.
    It is an Autosmart product,
Sponged everything down ( not leather ) and never had a smell out of the car after,

So spent a nice bit online on detailing shed. Thanks Dave arrived next day. Got eraser, carpro glass polish, stripper sent which really smells as described she will definitely be worried... Ha.... Blacklight which I got to try,two buckets with grit guards, tar & glue remover, v32 cutting polish., black hex applicator pad, hydro spray on wipe or rinse off so I am going to busy.

Question I have is if applying blacklight is it recommended as final stage or could I apply collinite 845 on top?

Also the likes of the hydro spray on wipe/wash off is that OK to use after blacklight or collinite 845 not right away but next wash or two after a few weeks.

Blacklight needs something on top, as it's not protection. 845 will go on, but not sure how long it will last...may last as long as it should, it may not.
As for the HydrO2, it will work best stand alone. But regarding putting it on 845, I wouldn't do it straight away, wait until the best life of the 845 is gone.

    Thanks was thinking that.

I am in middle of trying the rotary again as there were still swirls left last time.

Just done with v32 so hope it will get most out.

Is there anything else you would recommend to use on blacklight.
Doing the vRS with it so look forward to the results and the wet look promise by blacklight.

If you were looking for wet look over durabilty then Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax would be nice on it. I like Chemical Guys Pete's 53 with it also...very nice on black.

Very slow on the Monday - Wednesdays. Not too bad on the other days. It's a matter of getting people aware that we're there. Now that we've settle in; we'll be trying to raise that awareness! :)
