Lad I'm looking to get a one piece cleaning rod and a few mops and cleaning bits.

I have a 3 piece hoppes cleaning rod, but I'm terrified it's going to snap or damage my barrel,

So my question where do you get your bitz n pieces, I've looked online and amazon seem to be the only place that have them, there $40 and p&p is $20.

    Thanks Ronan

I have a Pro-Shot one piece rod. I also use a Pro-Shot bore guide (with multiple caliber adaptors), and caliber specific jags, brushs, mops, all from Pro--Shot.

I got mine in Jim Griffins some months back and paid €50 for it. However with his closing down sale on he might be open to a better deal. It's in this picture. Centre, bottom with the red rubber cap on it. You only see half it in the picture.

I've never liked bore snakes. They are an emergency tool for in the field, but for cleaning they are not the tool for the job. I also bought a Hoppes three piece .17hmr kit when i first bought the gun as i don't like not having some sort of cleaning gear for any gun i have. I never used it as i found the Pro-Shot stuff a week after.

Reloading solutions in England.Dewey cleaning rods have ball bearing handles and are plastic coated. And come in various lengths.
Stick to a one piece.3 piece is like putting a file in to it.
