Firearm training certificate

    Hi, My Dad is an experienced hunter and i really want to hunt with him, I was looking There and found out That i Could have a Training Certificate Licence but must be hunting with a a Person who has a full licence,Can Someone Share some information? Im wondering will it take Long if i Applied for an Training certificate,and Do i have to pay any fees Or anything like that, And also Can i use any guns under my dads licence, Like a Shotgun...

    You have to be 14 or older, The training licence is only really for 14-16yr olds as when you are 16 you can have a full licence whereby you don't need to be accompanied etc... The training licence is E40 and you are only entitled to use whatever firearm you state on the application. It is one licence for one firearm here. They are meant to process it within three months, It may be longer it may be quicker it all depends on your local super and station.
