Voted for Liger and I'll stick by that. For me the International category is for guys who are best known for their work outside of North America.

He’s been dubbed The Great One, The People’s Champion and The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment. Simply put he was the most charismatic Superstar of all time and a man who could use a microphone like no other. Not only was he great on the mic but he could go in the ring (put boots to asses) too and had some real classic bouts and feuds with the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin & HHH that helped define the attitude era.

The first third-generation Superstar in WWE history, The Brahma Bull seemed destined for greatness but few would have predicted just how much of a star he would become and having now crossed over to being the most electrifying man in entertainment period or so the fact that he was the top grossing actor in 2013 would imply.

He is not yet a member of the WWE Hall of fame (although there are rumours about a potential induction next year) but it is simply a matter of time till the king of the wrestling catchphrase is inducted and we ain't waiting around. We smelled what the Rock was cooking and we liked it.

The first inductee to the Boards.ie Pro Wrestling Hall of fame class of 2014 is... (Dwayne) The Rock (Johnson)

The next inductees are the tag team

    Edge and Christian (E & C)

One of the greatest tag teams ever, revolutionised the tag division in WWE, 7 time tag champions, pioneers of the TLC Match, who reeked of awesomeness, amazing chemistry as a team and great ability to connect with the audience

Boards.ie PW Hall of Fame class of 2014 welcomes Edge and Christian

The following inductee is an all round entertainer and one of the finest wrestlers ever to lace up a pair of boots. He boasts the single best rookie year in all of sports entertainment, culmianting with the WWE Championship within 12 months of his debut. He started off as a project with an unknown upside but became, and still is, one of the most accomplished grapplers of this generstion. A pivotal part of the Smackdown Six, he revolutionised the blue brand in the Ruthless Aggression Era. He's held all titles everywhere he's gone, including every championship at once in TNA and has conquered Japan too when he captured the IWGP Championship. Whether as a goofy comedy villain, a serious straight shooter or a patriotic take no prisoners patriot, this man is worthy of his place among the elite. His Three I's have guided him to greatness and tonight, they see him into the PW Boards Hall of Fame Class of 2014. Oh it's true.... It's damn true! Ladies and Gentlemen, KURT ANGLE!

"He can wrestle a broom stick and put on a classic." Very few men can have this said about them, but our next inductee is more than able to back of this claim. No matter who he has been put up against, he can bring the best out of his opponent. When you pair him against another ring general, it becomes pure magic. What's amazing is when people talk about the best wrestler ever, he doesn't just straight into our minds, but when you think of the best matches at all time, suddenly he pops up several times.

He helped paved the way for other smaller wrestlers and showed that you can make it in the world of wrestling without being a jacked up giant, and this was in the 80s. John Cena could also learn something from this man, because he is arguably the only wrestler that people never considered for a heel turn. He was the perfect baby face, and always had the crowd behind him. Plus anyone who can take a simple move like a hip-toss and turn into a thing of beauty is just naturally gifted.

Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in welcoming to our hall of fame, the man who put on the best wrestling trilogy ever with Ric Flair and arguably the greatest match of all time with Randy Savage at Wrestlemania III, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat!

    We at Boards.ie PW are...
    Paul Heyman Guys
    PaulHeyman1.jpg

This is the non-wrestler inductee so why not take a guy who has not only done almost every non wrestling role going but he did them all like a boss. He has been called The most outspoken individual in an industry populated entirely by outspoken individuals and thus it is now surprised he is considered one of the best ever with a Mic in hand.

He may be most famous at the moment as the Advocate for Barrrockkk Lesnar but he has also managed a Phletora of huge names in his time like Steve Austin, Arn Anderson and Rick Rude in a stable he dubbed his Dangerous Alliance in WCW or The Big Show & Kurt Angle on Smackdown (when he was the first man in professional wrestling history to manage three successive World Champions). Before his tenure as a manager in the WWE The Voice of the Voice of the Voiceless was one of the voices of the WWE's commentary team and with JR made up part of what many people believe was the best commentary team going.

So thats Manager and announcer check but he was also the Smackdown and WWECW GM during his time in the WWE o and Smackdown head writer (and later OVW writer/booker) where he was credited with being the creative force behind the successful so-called "SmackDown! Six".

It is under that moniker (Creative Force) that he is probably best known though as no matter what he did with CM Punk or any other Paul Heyman guy's his name will always be synonomous with 3 letters... ECW. He was the promoter and creative force behind that revolutionary promotionwhich is credited with inspiring WWE’s landmark Attitude Era. Whatever moniker you know him as be it The Rabbi of the Revolution, The Messiah of a New Breed Unleashed, The Walrus/Paulrus, The Swinging Schlong of the Extreme or simply The Best Manager In The World he is far more than worthy of his place in any PW Hall of Fame

    Andre "the Giant" Roussimoff
    andre2.jpg

No hall of fame would be complete without this man.

The French Born Giant made an impact in Japan and Canada before as a 27-year-old he joined the WWF in 1973 and then throughout the ’70s and well into the ’80s, the so-called “Eighth Wonder of the World” was the company’s leading attraction

Andre the Giant quickly became a household name as he became one of the most popular wrestlers ever and one of the most recognizable professional athletes in the world. In the ring, Andre was unbeatable, both figuratively and literally. The WWF touted him as being an unbeatable giant, and in fact in the ring, if Andre didn't want to lose, he didn't, Infact according to the WWE he was undefeated for nearly 15 years before he lost to Hulk Hogan in one of the most memorable moments of all of wrestling history.

Andre also enjoyed massive crossover success, the likes of which would not be seen again until fellow 2014 boards HOF inductee The Rock making many TV appearances but most notably appreaing as Fezzik in Rob Reiner’s awesome comedy “The Princess Bride.”

So now Andre the first ever inductee to the WWE Hall of fame is the final inductee to the Boards.ie PW Hall of fame class of 2014.
