    The 170 HID is a nice bit of kit, it does extend the beam a lot but it does get a bit heavy holding it up compared to the normal one so id imagine the 240 would be a fair lump to hold up for too long.

    They also take maybe 5 seconds to get to full power, so you might be better off with a dimmer, I found by the time it got to full power a lot of the scanning would be done when flicking it on and off each time.

    even on warm up the 170 hid is enough to scan out 200+ yards..

    worth every penny..

    the 160+ tails this year have proved that
