Wifey called them last week, they offered fully comp for both of us, 06 1.6 focus, for €299 with a crowd called ARB Insurance....she agreed to it there and then. Decent quote, previously with AXA at €380. Called our previous broker, they matched it so cancelled with Chill.ie. Wifey was annoyed she agreed there and then, typical sales spiel about only being a good offer right now. Bit of hassle to cancel it, they never mentioned the non-refundable admin charge of €26 either. When we looked at the documents they sent out to us they had both if our names incorrect, had both of us down as having our licenses 14 years (more like 5 and 3) plus had our NCB wrong too.....wouldn't deal with them again. Glad we cancelled.

my daughter tried chill got different quotes did not like them ,she cancelled
but had to pay admin charge to get her money back'

I recently got a good quote from Chill.

I was told I had a cooling off period of 14 days. I never signed anything or submitting any paperwork and they have now taken the full amount plus an administration fee of just under a E100. Which they never told me about!!!

They have agreed to back out the policy but it is proving to be a long drawn out process plus they are presently refusing to return the administration fee.

Trust me...Save yourselves the hassle and stay with your current provider.

    An appalling experience over all.

You got a quote and they came round your house and rooted through bins for financial details? Shocking stuff.

Or you paid online and ticked the various "I agree and understand the terms and conditions boxes"?

I have used them for house, best by far. Ever crossed yer mind that you are considered not worth it, let the others take the risk? Insurance is a "balance the books" business.

I have noticed since a while that the number of brokers has dropped.
