Any pictures of the targets. I'd say the grouping is nice. The lowest shot (average) would be what, something in the 10.3 mark?

That was a 595 in old scoring. I'll get a copy of the targets posted up tomorrow.

That is as close to a one hole group as i've ever seen. Ever. I'd say you're delighted?

Yeah, it was a nice way to finish.

It's not a group though. Two shots is just a coincidence. It takes more to make a group.

I know, but still.

Was down at 1,000 yards one afternoon. Took my time, read the wind perfectly and my first shot, clean & cold bore, went straight through the dead centre of the V bull. I mean the absolute centre. Between the lines of the V. Didn't fire a second.

Hehe, I suppose there's no point trying to improve on perfection eh?

Time for sleep for me now. Have to be up in time to make it to the range to train before work tomorrow. It never stops!

First shot at my first training session with the squad many years ago:



Got up, wandered off, had a cup of tea, waited for them to change targets, walked down, cut out that one sighting target, walked back, put it in the diary. Didn't risk putting another round even into the same A2-sized chunk of paper
