    Hardly. In the last year alone, Woolwich machete attack, Nairobi and several incidents in the Central African Republic and elsewhere in Africa come to mind?

    As a weapon of terror the machete is just that... friggin terrifying.

    Another stabbing in China today

    Five people were stabbed to death Friday morning at a market in the capital of Hunan Province in central China. Local media report that several Uighur “naan peddlers” suddenly went on a knifing rampage after a disagreement among food stall owners escalated into violence.

    This will be the start of many Chinese terror attacks I reckon, once these attacks begin they usually run and continue for a long time.

    Knife-wielding groups of people organising themselves into a mob to go on a knifing spree are not all too uncommon in China. It isn't religious or political, just general anger at society. The equivalent to our more passice Occupy types.
