Going for Mata as well. Can't see Liverpool going crazy at Arseanl so staying away from SAS. Surely United can't be terrible against Fulham?

At home against a big side, potential to play better, so far its with Suarez, if i do the Adebayor to Sturridge transfer, he'll get the band.

    Suarez regardless of the opposition!

Thinking Mata also, but may leave it with El Pistolero.

He's not in my team yet but I'll be going with RVP.

Can't trust any United player for more than 6/7 points. I only have Mata in my team, RVP is a big risk for captaincy, especially when you factor in the fact they play Arsenal on the Wednesday at the Emirates.

RVP for me. Had a shocker this week with only 38 points so time to take a somewhat calculated gamble!

If I had him, I'd put it on RVP. Fulham at home...if there's a match where they're gonna actually play good football and score goals, it's this one.

However, I don't have him so I don't know. Liverpool have a habit of playing better against the better teams but Arsenal are solid defensively so I am quite undecided.

Gonna take it off suarez for the first time since I brought him in. Rvp to get a hattrick, please.

I am tempted by Mata but really nervous. The two times I have taken it off Suarez it has really hurt me.

    I am still hurting....but tempted.

Mata for me. Seems like a good few have brought RVP in... if I did it, I'd either have to either take Yaya out and downgrade him to a 4-5 player, or reshuffle a good number of positions,

Think the two lads will do a good job against Luis.

RVP for me, if Suarez scores and does well will be happy with the result

As bad as Fulham have been, have United actually put anyone to the sword this year? They don't look capable of doing it.

Swansea GW1 if you can describe 4-1 as putting a team to the sword. Also Leverkusen 5-0 away in the CL.

Anyway there can always be a first time....hopefully

Not sure whether to go with Roo or Suarez, dun have $$ to get in RVP.
If RVP was unfit Rooney would have played more upfront. Decisions!! Decisions!!

    Daniel Sturridge (Arsenal Home)
I'm fearful of RVP but I'm not going to rip my team apart for one fixture. He plays Arsenal away Wednesday night and then has a blank coming up.

Fulham are brutal but my slim hope is that United's former coach more than anyone should have the knowledge to try and make his team competitive against them.

Liverpool Arsenal will both probably settle for a point so can see it being tight and cagey

Liverpool will not settle for a draw I think. Should they have beaten West Brom, they may have been happy with a point. Cant really afford to drop points at home. In saying that, its still no guarantee Suarez will do some damage. If i knew Negredo was starting, i might be tempted with him but hard to tell.

Fulham at home is the best fixture possible, if United can't produce there this would be the last time i captained any of their players.

Have to say all this talk of everyone gettin on RVP for the Fulham match had me worried until i realised nobody in the top six of any of my cash leagues has him (which im winning) - so happy days, captaincy stays with Suarez!!

I have Benteke, Rooney and Suarez so plenty of viable options. It's on Rooney at the minute until my inevitable panic at 11.25 on Saturday when I switch it back to Luis.

Bear in mind someone can bring him in in the meantime;)
If you are well ahead, then you don't have to risk it, but us in the 500k bracket have to make some ground now. RVP gives me some hope in my private leagues.
RVP price is fixed at this moment, which makes it easier to get rid in blank gameweek and bring him back for double gameweek. Makes perfect sense.

RVP doesn't particularly trouble me. Two of my most competitive private leagues are the leagues I am worried about. Nobody has RVP in those. Therefore he's no worry to me.

I don't think they can afford him either. I have 5 million on most of them. I'm on 113 million. They are on 108-109. I've looked at my key competitor's teams and they'd be ripping them apart to bring in a player of his value for one GW.

I may fall in the global rankings but my private leagues is my bread and butter.

I would love to be in a money league where I'd still have some hope if I was I in 500,000 place.
3rd in my league is in 8,000th place. I can forget about a decent prize. Best I can get will be 6th and my money back

After what happened in GW 16 (Captained Lukaku while Suarez happily got 2 goals and three assists at Spurs) I think I'd never again risk captaining any one else.

I know it's very different opposition this GW but I think he'll deliver.

This has echoes of the hype surrounding RVP's fixture against Palace in GW4 and how he was a must have that week. People, myself included, ripped their teams apart to get him in. He scored 6 points...

Fulham are really terrible though. A lot worse than Palace were. Plus United now have Mata which will surely help RVP.
Difference for me this time around is that I don't have to rip my team apart to get RVP in. I have cash in the bank and I need a major differential at this stage He just might be it. Sad to say but with 14 weeks to go I'm looking for RVP to kickstart my season........

I brought RVP in for Aguero last week, so did many people who now own him. Don't think a rest of the team suffered since this was a straight swap.
I expect both Suarez and RVP to score, but the chance of double figure is with with RVP against Fulham. If i didn't have him i would captain Suarez like everyone else, but anyone who has RVP will put an armband on him.

I have RVP, I didn't destroy my team to get him in last week and I will captain him because he is the best choice for this GW on paper. The fact he's a massive differential helps. This is also a week where Hazard and Yaya could run riot too so I'll need to keep my head above water somehow.

It's a no brainer but I'm also aware that United have been poor and that RVP is only coming back from injury and facing Arsenal on Wed. Plus Meulensteen could in theory know more about United than others but Fulham have been beyond awful. There's never a sure thing in this game, not even with Suarez even if he's pretty damn close. Nevertheless Robin Van Persie is the best option this week whatever anyone says, will it work? I sure as hell hope so but am aware it might not.

I don't buy the whole GW4 Palace "disaster" but if people want to use it as a justification for not having him it's fine by me. The same as I have continually bemoaned and attempted to justify not having Hazard and Yaya :pac:

I had to check his ownership after reading that. You're right, he has only 17% ownership.

He'll be my captain for sure.

And some of those 17% are inactive players who brought him in at the start of the season;)
