Here's the story lads of a plan hatched and executed tonight . Last week I lost 3 hens and two ducks to mr fox,all from the hen run adjacent to kennels to rear of my house. This was a daring snatch and grab so I decided some revenge was on the agenda .
My cunning plan (being from cork helps ) ðŸ˜႒ðŸ˜႒involved the following items , 223 rifle , lightforce lamp , 50 meter extension lead, iPod loaded with chicken saddle mayhem from YouTube and iPod docking station turned up to full volume.
I put plan in motion tonight , ran ext lead to original crime scene at rear of hen run and let rip with iPod on repeat while myself and my worthy assistant took cover behind a pile of logs.
The result was not only priceless but very effective . Two foxes made an appearance . One came to within 40yards with taughts of chicken supper on his mind and was dropped clean . The other didn't present a safe shot and made his way home safely .
    Great night and sweet revenge!

Rifle is a Steyr tactical elite in 223 . T8 mod and leupold 8.5x25 x 50 scope . Nice compact foxing rig . Built in bipod comes on handy at times . Don't have photos at moment .
