I've use a Numatic NVQ 380 B for 40 years. Probably 3 new units and maybe 6 motors in that time. I never used a bag - only the filter - never a problem with escaping dust. If the boiler was sooty - take off the top of the vac, hold down the filter and rattle it round a bit and suction was restored.
Maybe expensive, but no sooty kitchens or utility rooms.
    Jim.

    Thanks James.
I just used my new Numeric Henry today on a really sutted boiler, it was a great job,no clogging and handled a large volume in one go, it's better and only half the size of my old ind. one.
    Ta for info.

I used the Lidl one last week. Total piece of crap. Luckily Dtp1979 is swapping it for his new shiney DeWalt one that he hates & I love. :-)
