    74, lovely.

Out of interest, how many points did people score today including players subbed in? Wondering if my 23 from today will push me higher. Would be more than happy if I stay at 22k but there's a decent chance I'll squeeze into the teens ;)

47 today for me (18 off the bench) nowhere near your ranking though

Pretty poor 62 this week, was to expected with the injuries though. Hits will be had!

Dropping Suarez is a ludicrous notion

It's a big big risk... but that's were I'm at, I'd prefer to finish 580k than the 280k I am at present.

If SaS ownership rockets then this is a no go.
But if the majority of people just had 1 then, I think it can be justified...

This was my potential plan up until GW30:

Before tonight I saw it as:
Sturridge & RVP vs Suarez & Aguero

Sturridge v Suarez: In games played with Suarez this season he is averaging ~2.5 points per game less. From what I've seen of Sturridge since his return he is playing more advanced than there pre Christmas spell together.
Suarez was on fire over that time, he may slack off ever so slightly... My hope would be that they would come close to having similar returns, but Suarez will win out.

    Then it's over to
RVP v Aguero: Tonights injury may be a set back to this... but he definitely wasn't going to be playing GW 28 and 29. I also think with the quality at hand that he may be rested for a GW or two around the Barca games and Cup Final... I think City will open up a gap and they have the luxury of serious quality up front.
RVP on the other hand, I think he'll play most games.
United need a serious push if they want to get into top 4. Mata is also a big plus for RVP.
With Aguero playing at least 1 less game than him and maybe more, I think RVP can outscore him by the Sturridge v Suarez difference.
Things would have to go my way with Aguero being rested to create a big difference.

The 2 pairings are about the same "real" values.
Suarez & RVP means that my team suffers elsewhere, too much negative

Would I prefer to keep to the safe bet of Suarez and Aguero....absolutely.
Do I think it's a risk...Yes, but I could see it working too as a differential
Is is ludicrous.... I don't think so

It's time to sh*t for me I'm afraid.... And I am afraid :D but hopeful

-20. You mad egg. Were those -20 worth it?
Not really but had to be done all the same. I have to take risks. -8 of that was getting in Cabaye then getting rid after his transfer.

Looks like another hit next week as I've Coleman, Mutch, Aguero and Chester who are all injured.

I really made a balls of my WC and now it's coming back to haunt me.

87 (-4) My bargain basement defence came good. Manoone, Gabby, Williamson, Terry. Cheeky punt on Johnson paid off and Mata a nice return. Aguero's injury the only balls as I was planning on banking transfer this week...

80 pts. Great score. And the January prize in my private league .

Aguero's injury (added to Coleman and Chester whom I'll probably get rid) is annoying though...

I'd prefer if I hadn't made some stupid mistakes pre christmas but I am where I am and it's time to go out in style...
Couldn't care less about the ridicule.... I don't think it's a crazy thought process, RVP being a ridiculous differential... I'll take that, only because I need to take that ;)

Think so, Stoke have been poor of late and have conceded big a few times this year.
Would prefer to have a home capt, but even though city are almost fixture proof.... I think Chelsea have really got their act together at the back, so when I was weighing it up, Aguero (was fit at the time obv) at home to Chelsea was prob the worst home game they could have imo.

Have a look at his record against Stoke ;-) 🙌

just watching motd aguero looked so sharp such a shame he is injured again he is some player. Feckin yaya again thats 3 pens he has had this year just a few mins after aguero has been taken off every time.

City have a nice run of fixtures after the Chelsea game too.

? Go on, elaborate.... He has scored a few against them, nothing major but decent returns all the same.

Fulham at home the week after is the biggie

He hasn't managed to score more than 1 goal against Stoke in recent years if I'm correct...
Might transfer him out for Chamakh for the week :p

I'm not into that kinda stats at all, too far in the past, different teams, different managers...but I'll take a return similar to his Arsenal days for it :)

A Gameweek rank of 6683 on a score of 86 and a rise of 94k places will do quite nicely from the wildcard to leave me sitting at 139k.

Had 2 free xfer this week (Cabaye and Aguero ).......took a -4 then for Cabaye and brought in Januzaj. <
thats some quality transfers right there

Still ended up on 73 without captaining Suarez, moved up 7k to 28k global.

80 for me for the week and up 20k places to 27k, happy with the score but it could have been a lot better had Aguero stayed on to take the peno instead of Yaya, how lucky can a player get

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,474 ✭✭✭YeatsCounty

75 points inc. points hit, but with Sturridge's missed penalty, Aguero's hit post & injury, Silva's hit post, Kolarov's shot cleared off the line, etc. it could have been so much more.

    So. Much. More.

89 for the GW. Very happy. Dodged a bullet by changing Captain back to Suarez from Hazard 15 mins before the deadline. Phew!

53 points. Nice. It was looking like it was going to be a bad week there for a while but Adebayors 2 points saved me...............

My 82 for the week sees me make up all the ground I lost by delaying my wildcard.

My gameweek score was 20k in the world after the wildcard and I'm back up to 2463 in the world. Higher than I ever have been this season :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,890 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

Finished on 81 and up to 527 in the overall ranking.
    Overall Rank < Total Points = :)

My entire defence (2GK + 5DEF) delivered points, only Sagna conceded and he chipped in with an assist.

On the downside I have both Ramsey and Aguero so a points hit will likely be required this week.

Pushed up another 1k after last night's games which leaves me at 21k. Delighted with this, my rival scored a 59 and finally dropped out of the top 5k. I've cut the gap in half over the last few weeks and hopefully the double GW's will be his undoing. Already made my two free transfers this week so a bit wary of both Aguero and Coleman not starting. I'll be forced into playing Ward (Arsenal away) and Colback. Will reassess tomorrow and possible look at bringing in Sturridge at a -4. For anyone interested in benchmarks, here's where we're at after GW 23:

    1st: 1,601
    Top 100: 1,542
    Top 1k: 1,502
    Top 5k: 1,469
    Top 10k: 1,453
    Top 50k: 1,407
    Top 100k: 1,381
    Top 250k: 1,337
    Top 500k: 1,288
    Oblivion: <1,287

Still 20 points to make up before I crack the top 10k. The double GW's could make or break a lot of people's season.

Ended up with 81 points and now 15K overall. With only getting 16 points last night I expected to fall more than the 3K i did fall after Tuesday night so happy out.

Have Aguero and Cazorla though so looks like at least 1 transfer needed for the weekend.

Only 1 red arrow in my leagues but it was in the league I run myself ( down to 5th from 4th). Scores for the top 6 in that league for the week were 81,82,75,82,81 and 86 which is ridiculous!
    Hackers wrote: »
65 (wildcard played this week) after bonus points added, over the moon with that. 4 from 4 clean sheets, Cazorla, RVP and Suarez(c) getting the rest. Aguero, Hazard, YaYa and Ki to come.

Was just inside top 30K overall, hoping to break into top 25K once full gameweek is over.

Down 3k to 17k after last night. Four 1 pointers from defense & GK cost me big time, with Joel Ward my only shining light.

    I gained a massive 110 places!

I've had a decent enough week for a finish, 70 points which seems to be the average for here, I've stuck at 30 on the FSA qualifier league which is one I'm hoping to make a move up in, green arrows everywhere else. Up to 70k in the overall league. With my wildcard currently active I'm hoping to make a little more progree next week as I won't have to worry about the hits which may be inevitable for many to account for the injuries and transfers which have occurred and will continue over the next couple of days. Out of the cup though as my opponent had 82 for a finish.

And we have our average coming in this week at 68 points before transfer hits.

I'm not going to go in a find out how many transfer hits everyone took ;)
Lets knock 2 points on average and call it 66 points

Gone up to 145k overall which I'm pretty happy with considering I had a pretty low score. Dropped some places in both my leagues though which is annoying.

85 pts gets me close to my mini-league leader. Could have been more if my SASAS (SAS and Sterling) pool combo had contrived to stick more past hapless Everton.

3 goals and an assist in 3 games.. Two of them being against Arsenal and Liverpool.. Is he reclaiming his Bentekkers title? ;)
