Once got BITTEN on the arm by a guy while working as a doorman, worse pain I have ever felt! Ended up my whole bicep went purple from it and couldn't lift a cup for 3 weeks the bruising went that deep. After he bit me I headbutted him in the face and then kicked him in the balls. When he went down I grabbed a cigarette from someone (you could smoke Indoors at this time) and stubbed the cigarette out on the back of his neck. I have always regretted doing that as it's the one time I have lost control and hurt someone deliberately :(

So when you say " pretty much completely without provocation " did you punch his girlfriend in the tits or poo on his chips. What level of pretty much are we talking here?

He was kind of encroaching on a person issue so I told him to f off. He asked me was I threatening him, I said no. Etc etc. So in as much as swearing at someone who is already being a tool is provocation I guess I provoked him.

The lad you beat up may well be scum, but boasting about putting someone in hospital is not exactly something I would aspire to. But that's just me.

1 punch is beating someone up is it?

    You put him in hospital.

Sometimes **** happens and one punch (deserved or not) can result in hospitalisation.

Sometimes it this the only way to end an inevitable situation. Sad but true.

I once broke a twats jaw in two places with just a couple of punches. When you are outnumbered and the flight option has been taken away from you, you just react and most men are capable of inflicting a lot of damage with just a single strike.

    You put him in hospital.

Maybe the fun trip to icu will make him think twice about assaulting people and spitting on them. Didn't lose a wink of sleep over it

I get angry all the time but only experienced true rage a few times. It's a physiological phenomenon. Your hearing goes, you get something like tunnel vision and the adrenaline is pumping. Had to be dragged off my cousin after he said some unbelievably disrespectful stuff to me about my mother.

Yeah this speaks to me - you can't see anything whatsoever outside of the issue that riles you up and all common sense just disappears. Can usually feel myself getting to that point though and try to avoid being around my guitars or anything else of value at the time!

Once I was driving and car overtook me on a solid white line,,on a bend, then had to cut right in front of me to avoid an oncoming car. I got so cross I said 'oh for goodness sake' under my breath. I went to anger management classes for a while...I'm much better now.

Jesus I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of you

Yeah what am I like, throwing one punch at someone who repeatidly went to assault me with his friend and spat on me repeatidly, I am scum eh

Thats what scares me about the thought of getting in a fight. Defending myself, them going down and hitting their head and ending up dead or serious in hospital and me in prison. You are lucky there were cameras and witnesses.

It takes a lot but there is one thing that thinking about always gets me. If someone ever hurt my girlfriend or sisters Id say id explode on them tho and there would not be much left to mop up. Anytime I hear about cases in the news about women or children who were raped and or murdered and I get really really angry at the thought of what they went through.

Exactly what happened, I hit him, sparked him and he fell back his shoulder and head went off the kerb and bust off the road. Though I wasn't lucky, he started it in a crowded pub at closing time and ewaited outside for me to leave the pub once they were put out. So everyone saw and cameras in pubs see everything
