Oh, and I beat up my brother in law on holiday in Tenerife. Sober, pushed to the limit and even his OH said he deserved it.

He flew home early, single and bruised.

Missed the door and the wall didn't flinch.

Ain't nobody got no time for that! I gave that door a good and proper kick, nice and hard so my boot went right through, huge hole in that sucker, took me forever to mend by hand the next day...

And nope, no cider in my case: just an infuriating cousin holding me down while I was mid-asthma-attack... by the time he got away from me, he locked the door to keep me off him while he beat a retreat away on down the road... and I...well I was left to give the door what was coming to the cousin-in-absentia...

    :o

Not quite as angry as this. ;)

In fairness. Unreal tournament is an unreal game.

    Great handle, Duckworth :)

Every time I go on the A&A forum... I want...room service! The club sandwich!

Got nutted for no reason in a nightclub years ago, he broke my nose and ran off, a few minutes a bouncer comes along and sees me pumping blood and throws me out while nearly breaking my arm in the process.

So I was fairly angry after that.

These days with the help of CCTV I could probably have the 2 of them up on assault charges.

Don't often get in a rage, more like a general simmering narkiness.

Got an unprovoked headbutt from a lad once while i was full of beer, was busy lashing the head off him when my now wife tried to break it up and she got an accidental crack in the jaw from me. It wasn't pretty, but it felt great apart from punching my wife in the face obviously.

I've never been so angry when I read the thread in AH about the new double barrel AR-15 why would people need a double barrel version of an already lethal weapon
    The mind boggles!

My friend and I saw another mate of ours get an unprovoked headbutt and boot in the head (while on ground) from a scummer outside the local nightclub.

When the anger had subsided my right shoe was covered in blood and the scumbag was out cold.

I **** myself with anger once. Does that count?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,472 ✭✭✭brooke 2

So three days after he and his missus had a kid, which should be the happiest period of time he is enraged about random news.

This "mate" sounds like a eijit.

He is probably feeling so protective of his new baby that
the thought of someone abusing an innocent child enraged
    him.

Once I was driving and car overtook me on a solid white line,,on a bend, then had to cut right in front of me to avoid an oncoming car. I got so cross I said 'oh for goodness sake' under my breath. I went to anger management classes for a while...I'm much better now.

I might be reading the wrong kinds of books, but "incandescent" seems too delicate and beautiful, a shining light kind of word... where for me, the kind of rage I think he was trying to describe would be more likely a "ferocious fury", a "rabid rage" a "homicidal haze".

Yep... been there, done that. :o

'Incandescent with rage' signifies great anger to me.

Actually I was asked if I would like to press charges after they got witness statements and security footage

I got so angry I threw a cup at my ex.

It missed and she turned around, looked at the floor and said without missing a beat; 'Clean that up' I had to leave the house then because I didnt trust myself not to hit her. Absolute angriest I've ever been and only time in my life I've ever lost my temper.

Needless to say we're no longer together lol

    Pity.

Yeah what am I like, throwing one punch at someone who repeatidly went to assault me with his friend and spat on me repeatidly, I am scum eh

I tend not to lose it with people (outside Boards) but with situations I find myself in. I'm never late and if I can't find something that I absolutely need and it's holding me back from being somewhere on time (usually teaching a class or meeting someone), I have an absolute freakout. Swearing, teeth gritting, complaining out loud to no one, shouting at a god I don't believe in, flailing of arms, stomping of feet; it's not a pretty sight. Nothing gets me angrier than having to rush somewhere and being late. Totally irrational but there ye go!

I used to get angry quite a lot. I've stopped. New shirts and trousers were costing me a fortune.

I slammed the door once when I was angry.

Then I said 'Oh **** sorry' so I don't know if that cancels it out or not

    I'm chiiiiiiilllll

The lad you beat up may well be scum, but boasting about putting someone in hospital is not exactly something I would aspire to. But that's just me.
