Wild hunter copy all products and sell them cheaper, but not always as good. copied the lightforce, the nightmaster 800 and depen lith ion batteries.

Their 170 lamp is meant to be similar to the ucaller lamp. good, but not as good as the lightforce. lightforce are still top of the bigger lamps, but for the price the wildhunter an ucaller will still let you identify foxes at 300 yards plus and see eyes out further.
I have the ucaller 170, half the price of the lightforce but still good enough to use out at distance.

still cant beat a lightforce though.

I am afraid you can ! I bought a scope mounted HID lamp from www.pigeon-decoying.co.uk. The shop is up in Belfast. Saw the lamp in the shop and looked, handled and mmmed over it. at £95 it seemed reasonable.
    Cut to the short,the owner,Tom,asked me what I used. A LIghtforce 170.
So he said buy this and if it is no better bring it back in perfect condition and get a full refund.
Ok,that's a no brainer. Anyway I haven't taken the lamp back and it's over 18 months ago. Sold the LIghtforce.
I shot 1 fox at a confirmed 372 yds,no problem seeing it clearly, several over 250 yards out and the rest, obviously,at more moderate ranges.

Incidentally he sells the same torch Cass was showing on another thread. It has the same tube and accessories, same foam packing and comes in a black box.
I mounted it on the scope and took one fox out at 170 yards but now prefer to use the torch for spotting and then go on to the HID (High Intensity Discharge) lamp for the shot.
A bit of a bugger trailing the lamp and cables around but good lamp men are thin on the ground

That link is not working for me. Keep getting "webpage cannot be displayed". Have you another for the lamp you bought?

Expensive enough. Think the lamp runs around €250 and the lithium battery to run it the same. However it's one hell of a lamp, and i can see it easily doing twice the distance of the 140 or 170 Lightforces (non HiD)

Maybe I didn't put the hyphen in the right place.

Anyway a quick Google found the shop and no the lamp and torches are not on it. So I have suggested he does put them up.

What you save on the lamp against a Lightforce will pay for a lithium ion battery.
