I know someone who ran up a couple of thousand euro using a psychic phone line. What is worse she was using her elderly mothers phone. Keef Barry is good for entertainment purposes but if you start believing that stuff you have got a problem. Look into my eyes.

Im extremely skeptical,but I can't come up with a viable explanation. It HAS to be plants but no evidence!

I would however love to know how he executed one particular trick on TV, where he was locked into a B&Q shed that was rigged to explode by FIVE masked men, when the now SIX masked men ran from the shed it exploded into flame, yet miraculously monsieur Barry was uninjured, revealing himself to be now sitting amongst the audience and slightly out of breath! Explain that... you can't, it's magic.

Keith barry has denounced psychics many times on his shows saying they are frauds,on a related note the company behind irish psychics live has gone bust.

I'll tell you this, I can never bring myself to tell people that psychics are fake. I did it once as a demonstration because someone asked me to, but the fact that people spent vast amounts of money on this and are under the illusion they are actually talking to a dead child, mother, husband, wife, it would be even more crushing to them.

I never have, and never will, believe that anyone would feign dislike for a famous person, or even genuinely dislike them, because of begrudgery

You know what, maybe if they themselves are competitor to Barry, it might be a factor, but I'm pretty sure the people you're talking about aren't magicians or mentalists. They just don't like him because, wait for it, they don't enjoy what he does

My niece was at a show a few years ago.
She told me, from where she was sitting she could see Keith behind the curtain beforehand shoving stuff up his sleeve.

It's def plants. Just watched he most recent act on the Late Late. He claims to choose someone at random by writing a number on a notepad then asking members of the audience to guess it.

When he selects his 'plant' in the audience to guess a number, he holds the notepad with both hands as he has a tiny pen/marker ring on his right thumb which he uses to write the number when the 'plant' says it. He even asks the person to shout louder as he didn't hear which gives him more time to finish writing the number.

He used the same technique on a previous appearance on the Late Late show but the camera didn't cut from him quickly enough and he could be seen putting the 'thumb marker' back into his pocket.

It's a bit disingenuous to claim you don't use plants and then blatantly do.

Seen one of his live shows a few years back and the plants were pretty obvious too.

I've been to his show before with friends who were hypnotised... Were they all plants as well?
