How does Keith Barry do his stuff.

Is it just hypnosis and suggestive thinking etc.

Watching him here - he got a guy to describe a photo - and it was exactly as it was. Him fishing at a lake.

Just hypnosis before hand.

It is just a bit annoying if the truth be told.

I'd say his "Dont use stooges" is about as credible as a psychic's "I talk to the dead". I seen a show once where a guy was doing something similar to stuff Derren Brown/Keith Barry does and the trick to it was that he made such a show of it not being magic or psychic ability that people believed him when he said he was influencing people, reading them and all that lark. Turned out it was the same slight of hand, set up, misdirection stuff thats always been done but with people under the illusion they knew how he was doing it rather than the conventional "must be magic" angle.

Yes he's clever, he seemingly reads people's minds then says don't be silly that's impossible here's how I really did it, the explanation of course is a lie or misdirection as he calls it.

People go home thinking he's a master of body language, NLP etc and happy he let them in on the secret, a man of science and not a trickster like those other boring magicians pulling rabbits out of hats
