    Claire Daly speaking on the news at 1 stated that she wants 'the next commissioner to be from outside the force' effectively she is saying that she doesn't trust any of the existing ranked officers.

    She is a disgrace for making such a blanket judgement.
    Thankfully she is not our minister for justice

    Off topic, but related to many liveline topics.

    I read on thejournal.ie that the Technical Group are introducing a bill today that requires offenders to pay reparations to their victims.

    That sounds like good justice reforms to me.
