Me too. They're showing the first In Your House on a loop lately so I have that on. Awful show aside from the Bret vs Hakushi match.

Always wondered what happened to the people who won the house.

Edit: the 11yr old kid sold it 6months later for $175k http://www.wwe.com/classics/in-your-house-winner-interview

Can someone please help!!!! I subscribe to the network and got Unblock US today. I configured my router like it says and can get the archived shows to play but when I try to watch the live stream on the Ps3, it just keeps showing the revolving circle and a black screen!!!!

    HELP!!!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,860 ✭✭✭Ape Lincoln

I am using a PS3 and have the live stream working fine atm so it's not a general Network issue.

The stalled loading wheel happens sometimes but any combination of restarting the app, restarting the PS3 and/or reinstalling the app solves it for me.

Fwiw, I didn't configure my router but just changed the DNS settings on the PS3.

    Reset your router.
    Reinstall The Network
Follow these instructions to change your DNS settings http://support.unblock-us.com/customer/portal/articles/291530
Using the PS3 browser login to unblock-us.com to check you get the three green bars in the middle of the screen
Cross your fingers and say a prayer!

I think you've to be logged in to Playstation Network so check that you are.

That you could play the archived videos but not the livestream is weird. Unblockus seem to have a decent customer service so give them a shout if you get stuck.

thank you so much. looks like i had to just log onto unlock-us through the browser. Once i did that and went back into the app, it worked fine. Thank a million chief. My two nephews were nearly in tears beside me. I would have been the worst uncle ever if I hadnt fixed it.

Aye you have 'login' to unblockus which is just inputting your email you reg'd with. It's kinda weird that they don't have passwords though.

You have to login anytime you hamge IP address location.

Good luck, hope the kids enjoy the show!

The Network is playing up a fair bit for the live stream. The stream repeats itself 3 or 4 times every minute or so, and the quality has dropped up and down a fair bit all night too.

There's a serious delay now, between Sky Sports and the Network for me on PS4. Around 5 minutes

Is there a Payback replay available to watch today?

I think tonight at 9 on Sky.

Or On Demand on the WWEN.

Yes. Cesaro and Sheamus have a very solid match. Wyatt vs Cena is surprisingly good, and the Shield Vs Evolution is everything you'd expect from these 6

bray/cena, cesaro/sheamus and the main event were all excellent

Has anybody got a work around the location thing on the phone? I have an Xperia z1 and sometimes the network gets past the location check but usually just gets stuck on that. Us Netflix works and I'm using unblock us so any help would be great.

I have got it work on a HTC android I think using this method:

    Follow unblock-us DNS instructions
In "developer mode" allow mock locations
Set a USA location using Fake GPS Free (got in Play Store)
    Turn off mock locations
    Launch Network

Takes ages for the video to load up. Tis a pain in the gonads with the android GPS thing, WWE went out of their way with tk make it hard.

True. I end up watching it on xbox 360 now a lot more rather than android. My unblock is currently set to Canada at mo but still the xbox app works fine.

That is just a region switcher for Netflix nothing else.

It doesn't matter what region is set for anything other than Netflix.

WWE reported today that WrestleMania XXX drew 690,000 pay-per-view buys. They previously announced almost 400,000 domestic buys for the event so this updated number may be with international buys included.

As noted, WWE had 667,000 Network subscribers at the time of WrestleMania XXX so more than 1.35 million fans tuned into WrestleMania XXX this year.

    Source: PWInsider

Depending on what the numbers actually are. International buys maybe down 24%.

As you feckers watched it on WWE Network and not Sky Box Office. :p

667,000 Network subscribers doesn't mean 667,000 watched it on the Network live, delayed, replay or at all.

I did not know this. I had been switching between regions for Netflix and BBC Player and switching back for the Network like a numpty.

I'm watching on Ps4 had to say is very polished looks amazing. Watching WCW going to go thorough all the ppvs considering I have never watched it before. Scott steiner is unrecognisable from the Steiners to what I had seen in Wwe and TNA. Decent wrestler too.

Sscitt Steiner was pretty good before he became Freakzilla. His tag matches from Japan were cited as high points of his career (not on the Network tho)

If by 'polished' you mean good quality, it is good yeah but later 90s-2008 WWE sometimes looks poor video quality due to the amount of flashing lights, pyro and crushed blacks on screen.

Wrestlemania Rewind on Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker at Mania XXV is pretty good. It covers the tension (for want of a better word) between the two pre-2002 - Taker was going to beat up Shawn after Mania XIV if he didn't drop the belt to Austin - in a kayfabish way but is good for what it is.
features a little bit of post-match backstage footage

On Countdowm they covered Hottest Couples and included Mae Young and Mark Henry. And yes, it featured you know what.

Yeah I've been surprised by him. Ive only seen him look decent in other people jumping around him to make him look good and he just stands there flexing.

Yeah I'd imagine it will go awful looking but it's quite decent looking now I'm only at WCW the end of 97 now.
A lot of the fans do be copying whatever the wrestlers trademark is I.e. Alex Wrights dancing and then wane their hands as in that's rubbish it's like you were just doing it!!! Marks!

Also crushing blacks? Is that Micheal Hayes dream squash match?

I wonder how many people double booked Mania, in that they had the network but didn't trust it and ordered. PPV as well. I know I did.

Extreme Rules will be an interesting one in that regard, as people might have trusted the Network more by then and not ordered on TV.

Just to throw my two cents in here:

After signing up to the WWE Network very early into its release I have to say that to me it's been worth every cent of the $9.

Being able to wake up on Monday morning and watch Payback without having to give sky €25 is a massive bonus and I have had no issues with quality so far.
