In fairness it's $4.99 for me to use unblock and the network is $9.99. So that's less then 15 notes a month , i mean where would ye get it ?

Superb value in all fairness. I've found the iPad to be less glitchy the the PC or laptop . And the iPad is so much more convenient as well.

Would people here think sky will suffer badly when the network is "available" over here with ppv buys ? I've a theory that's why it wasn't released here and the uk already.

I'd say this is quite accurate. Sky recently renegotiated a long term deal with WWE, so I'd say they had a huge say in the delay of the Network launch.

I've a feeling that when it is officially launched here, it'll be more expensive, and there will be no live PPVs available

In the States, the WWE had to wait for existing PPV contracts to run out before launching the network as they could not offer PPV through the network and undercut them under the existing contracts.

Similarly, while WWE have re-signed with Sky, the present deal still has some time to run on it which is why the network can't launch here yet (some of the PPV's are on Sky Sports). Once that is up, the same as the US, the PPV's will all be offered strictly via Pay Per View on Sky Box Office, or through the network.

If you have a decent understanding of the business, I think it's relatively clear that the network will be one of WWE's 2 core revenue streams going forward. There is just no way they are going to attempt to sell that without the key draw. Without the live PPV's, it's essentiallyc lassics on demand, and the appeal of nostalgia is very limited. I'd bet John Cena's yearly wage that those PPV's will all be on the network everywhere in the world.

Sky have hinted already that all PPVs will be on Box Office going forward. The timing of the Network and the miracle that is unblock-us, couldn't have come at a better time!

Despite the hitches I've enjoyed the Wrestlemania Today programme, the promo videos are well put together and the wrestlers come across well. I've asked this in the HOF thread but got no response so I'll try again, do you know if the Network will show the full HOF ceremony on repeat? I really don't fancy staying up that late.

i expect it to be but I don't know for sure. You can skip ahead to see what the schedule is for the loops they're playing during the week. I'm on PS3 here and it only shows me up until Tuesday and it's not slotted in for a replay. All other live programmes bar the NXT Arrival preshow is in the on demand bit even these "Today" things.

Although, the HoF has been heavily edited in the past for TV and DVD though I think that was mostly for time rather than taking out controversial stuff. Warrior with a live mic though....
