    5 from 3..

Rooney / Zab out for the 2 subs - Southampton lads Fonte & Rodriguez - this makes the Everton / Southampton match a key part of my GW returns with Llanan/Coleman as well

My 9 points moved me up 21,978 places globally. That's insane considering a GW Rank of 1,270,601.
Green arrows in other leagues too.

    303,000 overall now.

My amazing 6 has moved me from 117k up to 115k, mad considering gameweek rank ws 1.6m.
Looks like i am dusted in the cup tomorrow as well my zombie opponent scored 10 and has a better line up although if Suarez delivers.............

Anyone view the highest scoring team of the week, they had anelka as captain. A definate zombie, with not one transfer.

Was going to post this - Anelka captain, and Jussi vc:confused:
Great score - and 4 not so bad players left to play tomorrow.

Sitting on 23(-8), with Hazard, Theo, Coleman and Suarez to go. Cup opponent is on 3 with Suarez, Mertesacker, Hazard, Sterling and Dawson to go.

8 from 3 players and 6 of those were from Chester!

Still went up 4k places to 41k. It's all a bit mad Ted.

    15 from 5 and i gained 50k places!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

Madness. My 9(-4) from three players only dropped me 1k places back to 62k. I have Gabbidon coming in for 2 and Mert, Coleman, Hazard, Walcott, Cabaye, Lukaku and Suarez (c) to come tomorrow. Might not be a bad gameweek, although McGregor cost me points by playing. Had they announced the injury wasn't serious I wouldn't have made a transfer and would be 8 points better off.

F**k it, I'll end the week with green arrows unless Terry, Adebayor, Barkley or Llalana score big. TheSetMiner's stats sheet is a great way to keep track of who you need not to perform. Up to 50% of managers will have Suarez as captain after Rooney not playing. Mignolet can't go keeping a clean sheet either!

This is basically it, looking round my league a lot went for Yaya or Rooney as captain, but almost all who did VC'd Suarez.

If he scores low I'll have a decent week, esp if my differential Erikson gets a few points. If he does a Luis I'm seeing red arrows all the way baby.

I'm hoping he goes absolutely mental, as only Luis can.

When you say mental, do you mean this season mental, or last season mental?

I'll take both. If he scores a hat-trick he can bite Terry's nose off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,766 ✭✭✭RossieMan

i'd prefer if he remained quiet, i'm one of the few who do not have him as captain tomorrow. :/

    Never taking a punt again.

The guy in 5th in the world scored 18 points so far. Which is good, as he only fields 8 players this week. 7 if Mikel doesn't play... Some teams have been decimated this gameweek.

The guy 5th in the world has Jon Obi Mikel?

Delighted with my 26 from 3 players. Cracked the top 150k for the first time this season. Still have Walcott, Coleman, Suarez (c), Ozil, Lukaku to play. JT, Lovren (inj?) to make up the numbers and Gabiddon (he will be gone this week!) off the bench.

Happy out, Thanks Mutch, Welbeck and McGregor! :D

Of course, playing ff for over three years, I'm fully aware that tomorrow is going to be abysmal

Tomorrow literally cannot be any worse than today. TWO points. Why didn't anyone warn about how vicious the Christmas period is? Like, I'll field a full team of eleven no problem...they'll just all play for ten minutes!

Apparently Ozil hasn't travelled up to Newcastle for today's match.

My 10 points saw me rise 40k to 410k.
Please god let today see me get out of the 400k's at last, have spent 9 frustrating GW's floating around there.

I need a 30 point net difference to get me into the top 250k (which was my Xmas target).
9 players to play today, if Captain Theo gets going I might see myself reach that target.
Liverpool 1-0 Chelsea, Suarez goal, would be absolutely idea.

I have been expecting something like this as he is used to a winter break at this time.

Another disaster on a crap week if true.

I just did a Twitter search and this is all I found:

@AFC_Gooner1: Apparently no Mesut Ozil today. I expect Rosicky to take his place. Giroud to start and Pod to come off the bench. Jack also returns

It wouldn't surprise me tbh. I took a hit to take him out for Walcott so would be delighted if its true.

Loads of different people tweeting it now.

He was very good against West Ham I thought. According to Opta Stats, he created 8 chances, more than any other PL player Stephens Day.

The original source is some Newcastle fan whose mate works in the team hotel so I won't be writing Ozil out just yet.

I was half expecting him to be rested for Cardiff at home.

a lot of my rivals had Negredo as capt.

    result.

Theo, Barkley and Lallana doing the business would be swell today.

He's looked like a player who needs a rest to be honest, he looked very ordinary against City and Chelsea, only saw highlights of the West Ham game but he didn't get good reviews.
If he is out it's a bit of good news for me on a bad weekend.

I think it's becoming the norm to criticise him because he's a 42 million player. I didn't see the City game live but he was poor against Chelsea alright.

He created two or three great chances against West Ham particularly that should have been goals. Didn't look like scoring himself though and he's not a player who will grab a game by the scruff of the neck.

If Ozil or anyone else for that matter don't play I don't field 11.

Time to open up a can of whoop ass and motivate my ten men!
