Ok that was definitely my favourite episode so far! Loved the concept. Just an amazing first season they've had. This is what I've been looking for in an animated sitcom for years.

if you go back and watch the earlier episodes after this weeks it's hard to look at the relationship between rick and morty the same way

also

in the first scene of the first ep, with the neutrino bomb, rick says he is trying to make morty more assertive. and at the end of this ep (right after morty asks is it time for an arc now) rick says he knows what happens when a morty gets too assertive/cocky. and we know ricks can get replacement mortys.....
