Is Coleman essential to get now? The goal apart, he was a real threat yesterday. He's breaking my heart!

Who are you bringing him for?

Ah feck it! Fell asleep last night before taking a decision... At least have more time to think it over now.

I'm ditching De Guzman. Got him in for Brady 4 GWs ago before Shelvey became Swansea flavour.

I'll be downgrading my defense in the meantime. Either Terry or Mignolet out for a Sunderland or Hull player since they rotate well with Cardiff's Ben Turner.

I think he's been essential for a while now. The top teams in my league have had him since he was 1.0 less. His points speak for themselves. 4 goals, 8 clean sheets and playing for a team thats on the rise.

To be honest I wouldn't be too happy having both Silva and Yaya. Went for Silva and happy with that. Saying that Silva is much, much better prospect than De Guzman. It's your call but if City or Arsenal have bad day, your midfield score will be ruined.

Coleman and Yaya are on a two man crusade to destroy me.

giving serious consideration to getting rid of lukaku and getting in adebayor - lukaku just not scoring regularly enough for my liking, a few assists here and there.

But with big adebayor back in the spurs team he could go on a run now.

I'll think about it today and either get him in tonight or not at all.

I'm 90% certain to get him in though.

Don't do it. Lukaku has some great fixtures.

I think he's pretty close to essential at this stage on form and fixtures.

I cant take the pain any more, I'm getting him in for Terry, which will mean doubling on Everton defence. But given their next 4 are Sunderland (H), Southampton (H), Stoke (A) and Norwich (H) that is not a bad thing.

Will get rid of Howard in Jan WC, never ever ever selling Coleman again.

In this case, yes the fixtures are great but he has been very disappointing. If he doesn't shape up and do something at home to Sunderland I'll be looking at Dzeko.

Did Nasri to Walcott and Amalfitano to a cheap villa midfielder.

Should keep me going until the January wildcard

As I said he's just not scoring regularly enough for my liking , none in 5 games regardless of opposition and adebayor also has some decent fixtures. Besides Sunderland will score a couple of own goals to settle that game against Everton.

    How do you know that?

The stats from the other week showed that coleman was in something like 90% of the boards top 100 teams yet only 50% of the top 100 worldwide. Coleman was a great choice at 5 million probably the best value defender along with Terry before a ball was kicked this season. But 3 goals in his last 5 games is a once in a lifetime occurence. He is no more attacking than the likes of g johnson, rafael, evra, zabaleta, sagna etc. People that bought him at 6 million two weeks ago before his 2 goals have hit the jackpot imo.

Thought I was being real clever last week by buying Dzeko......got a whole point for me.

My league stops at Gameweek 19 so I'm thinking very short term.

Swapping him for Adeboyer seems to make a lot of sense right now..........
Talk me out of it Boardsies!!!!!

Would you bring him in at his current price? Looking at his fixtures and form, i would not be surprised to see some assists and maybe a goal or two.

I dont think he is worth that price but with the jan wildcard coming up if you get him in now you get his great fixtures and should make a nice profit of his price rises if you sell in january.

Who do ye think is the best cheap defender to get in for the next few weeks? I have narrowed it down to these 4. Anybody i am missing? Already have Ben Turner (Cardiff).

    Mike Williamson (Newcastle) 4.4m

    Martin Olsson (Norwich) 4.2m

    Steven Whittaker (Norwich) 3.9m

    James Chester (Hull) 3.9m

Just one transfer - Brady to Livermore.

Been taking too many hits the past few weeks. Time to make back some points.

he wont be playing away to arsenal every week in horrible conditions.

It's just the way Chelsea are playing lately,Jose has them set up to not lose rather than go out & smash teams.

they have 16 goals in the previous 6 league games. I think they just needed to be more solid tonight because of the oppposition. Different story at home to swansea Id imagine. However what you get with yaya is no rotation issues there is a chance hazard mightnt start the swansea game

That's also my thinking,Hazard looked knackered coming off tonight,Mata could get a start ahead of him as Jose looks to rotate things over the next week/10 days.

Completely disagree, have you watched Everton this season? Their full backs have a ridiculous licence to bomb on as much as possibly whilst both Barry and McCarthy hold in the middle. I think he'll continue with assists for the season.

Ye I have watched them a fair bit. Most of the decent teams in the league play the same way zabelata , g johnson, the utd and arsenal full backs are as attacking as coleman. As I said in my original post he was great value at the start of the season but is going through an unprecedented purple patch at the moment in terms of goals. Its great to see an irishman being one of the best in his position in the league.
