Hull City and Sunderland seem to rotate fairly well. That 'keeper combination would only cost 8.6. Mannone at 4.2 and McGregor at 4.4.

This would cost me 8.6 (or earned me 1 or 2m), and -4 in points and I would never take a hit for a keeper, unless both were out. Already pulled the trigger, I love this time of the year when the games are every few days. If i had one of the players you suggested, that would be a perfect solution. In Cardiff I trust now.

I reckon I might go with that combo. It would mean I could swap Morrisson for somebody 4.7 or lower so could get Redmond.

Ravel Morrison will just have to stay until January. Yay.

I know his returns haven't been great recently but I still think Ravel is a decent cheap option. Plays 90 minutes and while he hasn't had attacking returns for a while he is still likely to pick up some goals/assists in the future. West ham have had tricky fixtures recently also.

There aren't too many better cheap options imo. Januzaj is probably a better option, but for a cheapie I like to be certain he will start. Morrision is more assured of 90 minutes. With my January wildcard I will consider the switch though. If Sterling continues to get gametime he'll be another option.

No transfers for me this week. Need to get rid of Myhill now that Foster is back but will be playing Marshall this week anyway.

I see Clint Dempsey could be re-joining Fulham for the MLS off season. Will he be listed as a midfielder or striker? Would be a good option if the former and in and around the 8m price range.

Edit - Just seen in another thread that Dempsey is already there from Spurs at the start of the season. 7.5m midfielder. Interesting.

8 point hit done, silly me :)

    Vlaar, Clyne, Oviedo OUT

    Ward, Chester, Walcott IN

    Opinions please.

    6.5m for 5th midfielder.

Think its between Cabaye and Lallana. Anyone else worth consideration?

For anyone watching Spurs earlier, how did Sig play today? He won't be brought in but I'd be interested to see if he gets his start over next few GW's.

Don't remember much from Sigurddson, think he scuffed a good chance wide first half.

Lallana was really excellent today, could have had more assists if So'ton had better strikers.

Could anyone recommend a budget goalkeeper?

Are people still taking on Gabbidon? I see a drop on Total, but is that just panic sales?

With no sign of Boruc coming back and Mig facing City & Chelsea in the next two weeks I have gone for Lloris. I know Spurs are not the most dependable of defences but apart from United they have a reasonably good run of games over the next few weeks (and Pool are home that week). There is a lot of love for Mannone here but I can't bring myself to trust a relegation fighting Sunderland to keep clean sheets.

Is this for a mid that won't play? Or will only play occasionally? If either I'd invest the money elsewhere, unless you're going to be playing a 5 man midfield every week.

Anybody tempted to take a punt on Adebayor? Two home games coming up...could be a nice differential. Or a total disaster :pac:

    Open letter to Seamus Coleman.

    Dear Séamie,

I surrender. I knew as a fellow Donegal man you'd make me regret selling you in GW 9. In my defence your clean sheets looked to have dried up and your price was dropping. But I knew you'd make me pay, although I do think 60 odd points and 3 goals since is kinda rubbing my nose in it.

Every fecker in my league has you as you know, so all those points are breaking my heart, I even signed Tim Howard to try to ease the pain, but then you cleverly conspired to stop getting clean sheets and went away mad scoring goals.

So that's it, I surrender. I sold you for 5.3m, I'll suck it up and buy you back for 6.3, thanking you humbly for having taught me a valuable FPL lesson.

    Yours in sport.

    FHFC
(that's right, the club who turned you down before you signed for Sligo...ain't irony a bitch)

Tictacs... Switched from a 3-4-3 to a 3-5-2 after Aguero got injuried.
Brought Chamakh in to invest in midfield.

Probably only a Dec/Jan formation. Will go back when Aguero returns, but until then, and considering I was camped in the 400k's... I just went for it.

Considering its a 6-8 week move, I might be best focusing on fixtures rather than players.

    At present
Ozil, Oscar, Walcott, Silva, Lallana (prob)
    Suarez, Aguero
With Chamakh doing his hair on the bench

Tempted to go LUkaku > Adebayor, was thinking of it before todays games, would be madness with Evertons games but Leaving out a few dodgey assists Lukaku has been struggling of late.

I named my team after Seamie before GW1. I can't sell him even if I wanted to :D

I did it with Michael Turner and people called me crazy

2 clean sheets in the last 3 games, who's crazy now? Huh :pac:

When it comes to Coleman good people of the FSA forum suggested him before the start of the season. Thank you all:D
Already made transfer this week, but I am really considering -4 and bringing someone in for Remy. He is useless and pointless at this stage. The Spurs have something to prove, and if Adebayor is back, wouldn't be a bad idea to bring him in for Remy. They have some tasty home fixtures coming. The only thing is I am not sure if i can trust Tottenham to wake up, and Adebayor to play. I already gambled on Cardiff keeper, not sure if i can add Adebayor to the mix. What do you think - Adebayor yay, or nay?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

How crazy on the scale of totally crazy would it be to have both Adebayor and Leighton Baines in my team come the 26th? :D

Not acting on this urge right now and Lukaku out already could be foolish....and it would be for -8 most likely. These are the utterings of a madman granted but I shall revisit them tomorrow or tuesday.

Is getting Silva for a 4 pts hit crazy considering my midfield will be Yaya-Silva-Ramsey-Ozil-Morrisson if I go for it? Suarez-Rooney-Remy upfront.

Many in my money league have Coleman as Everton coverage because he's Irish. No other reason.
