Ok I presume the red blooded hetro males here love a good fit woman
tastes vary....some like the big boobed booty vixen...others the stick insects
many like the tight fit package
But what about birds with muscle? where does one draw the line?

bodybuilders often look frankly awful due to roids....but what about the naturally muscular birds?

does it bother you to have sex with such a woman?

Ive been with a few laydees but im no looker....no doubt theres some stallions here whove bedded half od Dublin
my experiences with the strong chicks has involved endless pre sex wrestling, ball kicking and leg crushing
in some cases she had stronger lower body but my upper body saved me from humilification lol

so whats your take on muscle on women? when is enough enough and when is it too much?

I wanna know this answer too.

I am an averagely physically fit woman, 32, but I'm tiny. Real thin, tiny waist, tiny build, but my bones don't show. I showed a (male) friend a photo last night, me when I was overweight.

He said he prefered it to my current, fit, healthy build. He liked the curves. But I look at it and I was genuinely overweight!!

    We can't win, eh?

I've never seen a woman get "big" from working out in real life.

Some guys like women with a bit of meat on them, it's just a preference, pay no attention. What matters is that you are healthy and happy with your shape.

It's very hard for a women to get seriously big unless juicing and even then most of them look relatively normal except when it's competition time and they're down to some minuscule level of body fat (their weird male faces not included).

How much is too much is all down to taste. Having said that I went out with a gymaholic once and whilst she was uber sexy she was the most insufferable bore. The only thing she ever spoke about was spinning or squatting etc etc.

I would be a scrawny enough man so most women of comparative height have a bit of weight on me as is. But if a woman looks like she could easily beat me in an arm wrestle that is where I would draw the line. Never really liked overly muscular women.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 590 ✭✭✭stpaddy99

I was dating a girl one time , ex swimmer , athletic type, she was 5 11 bare feet so she turns up in 4 inch heels....dwarfing my 5 foot 9 frame
she looked spectacular ,long blond hair blue eyes etc I asked her why she liked wearing heels so much.....she responded with I like how they make me feel, I like the way they make my ass look and I like being taller than everyone in the room
so I mentioned they also make your calf muscles look huge, which I thought was sexy , she said she didn't wear them to make her calf muscles look bigger , but to make her ankles look smaller?
    women eh? lol

mind you id rather hear a woman talk about bodybuilding than their blinking weight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,933 ✭✭✭smurgen

I'm friendly with a girl who's a bikini fitness model and working out of the gym I frequent, she's absolutly ripped, not particularly muscular but all of her muscles are well defined and there's not a bit of fat on her. It's definetly a turn off. I don't like really defined 6 packs on women and I think men's and women's bodies look weirdly similar when they're either extremly ripped or extremly fat!

must admit im generally preferring curvy figures, I detest the stick thin look of super models yuck
though I must admit sex is shall we say easier with slightly lighter girls , depending on their work ethic lol

I'm not a fan of that overly defined look on women. it's just not attractive to me at all.

I'm sure that on foot of this devastating news, however, female bodybuilders on boards will no doubt be hurling themselves in droves from the highest point they can find.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

of course, they all have lovely bottoms

Personally I'm not a fan of six packs on men or women.

I like them to be a fit/healthy. As in, can cycle an hour or 2 without much bother. Is strong(can do a bit of manual work with tiring out too quick etc).

I cannot stand body builders, both are grotesque in my eyes. They can't even walk normally \=.

But women just lifting a few weights. I do find, their body becomes more manly. And they lose their waist/shape somewhat.

I think women look best, thin, but with a bit of fat on them. (women are meant to have what is it 25% body fat anyway, as oppose to mens 10%) Women need the curves, or we're just looking at 'men' who can get preggers. XD.

Some women just have a 'look' that lends itself to particular shapes better than others.

I tend to like the curves but I'd have no problem whatsoever with muscley women but sweet duckface Jesus, give the muscle+Ronseal look a miss.

I know I’m going to be very general here but when compared to other countries I’ve lived in there’s still a massive misconception amongst Irish women that lifting weights or in fact any exercise beyond walking/yoga will make them look like body builders. In Ireland there seems to be a much bigger push towards controlling food than increasing exercise.

I much prefer the look of a girl who’s fit from exercising than one who’s thin from tight control of food.

Damn straight. Nothing as freaky as the sight of a young wan in a miniskirt who manages to be both borderline emaciated and riddled with cellulite.

One of two things I reckon, a) that's his genuine attraction to larger women(know a couple of guys like this) or b) the cultures idea of "curvy" has gone heavier over the last generation, so the idea of "normal" has also gone heavier. It's cultural too. IME Irish men prefer/are more OK with heavier women. A woman that would get plenty of attention from guys here wouldn't be looked at twice in Italy or Ukraine kinda thing.

Now take this with a grain of salt if you will, but in my experience *ahem* women who lift weights have far far less of that than women who starve themselves or even those who run as a sport. I've actually seen cellulite near vanish on a woman who took up lifting weights. Her skin overall got better too. OK it was experience of a small group of women, but it was noticeable. My theory at the time was lifting weights increases the bodies production of testosterone* and human growth hormone and this is what had the effect? I gather small doses of HGH is used on the sly by models because of it's youthful effects.

The other advantage with building lean mass is muscle burns calories just sitting there, even when you're asleep. Male(and I presume female) bodybuilders have to eat huge amounts of grub in training to keep up with the calorific demand of their muscles. On a smaller scale with ordinary women lifting weights it means that counting calories is not even close to the issue it would be if you were just on a diet.

*the ladies have testosterone too, only in much smaller amounts than men, so no danger in turning into a muscle monster. Hell if it was that easy men with their higher test levels would all look like Rambo with little effort. :D There are vanishingly few all natural bodybuilders in competitions. Vitamin S is required to get to those sizes and huge, gargantuan effort and dedication. Pump me full of roids and I'd just become an angry fat bastard, as opposed to my current angry skinny bastard.

Contrary to popular belief exercise does not remove cellulite. Once developed, you're fcuked.
    causes
A major contributing factor is a) hormones and b) diet thats high in carbohydrates/low in fiber./crappy blood circulation.
But again once developed, it's there and it ain't going anywhere.
    exercise doesn't help.

    myths

what exercise does, is reduce appearance, but it is still there.

Just reporting what I saw with my own eyes LA. There was a very clear reduction of it. I wonder in the exercise doesn't work studies(though I didn't see any links to actual studies) did they include all types of exercise or break it down into types? On the rise in testosterone theory, men rarely get cellulite(if you have it get then get thee to a physic stat) and one reason is down to more collagen and test builds same, so even a tiny amount bumped up by weights might have an effect by building more collagen?
