Oh how I've missed you Fantasy Football.

    stock-footage-victory-guy-is-very-excited-funny-white-background.jpg

Hoping for a big GW from Captain Kun

    kun-aguero_1976994c.jpg

And maybe an assist or two from Yaya

    TOURE_1694806a.jpg

Have Suarez but I'm sticking to my strategy of not captaining a player in the early kick-off so hoping for a quiet game for him as a lot of rivals have given him the armband

P.S always wanted to start one of these but I never get up early enough of a Saturday morning. Who the hell gets up at 7am on a Saturday anyway? :p

Baines is going to score tomorrow and everyone will pile on the transfers again seeing Stoke the following week. My psychic prediction for the weekend.

Oh and Howson and Andros to equal or better Yaya and Ramsey again this week

Cue Baines getting injured after five minutes :(

Gonna put all my psychic energy, after the derby, into a Micky T leg break then :)

I'd like to get the Palace game out of the way first (will no doubt pick up a yellow and miss it) but would be a great chance to be finally rid of him without being publicly shamed :pac:

You obviously don't have kids :D They don't care what morning it is!

I'm not expecting a big week myself as I said in the team thread. Team lines out:

    Harper
    Terry Coleman Zab
    Oscar Ramsey Ozil Brady
    Aguero Suarez Lukaku

    Mignolet, Morrison, Clyne, Shaw.

Captaincy decision to be made by 6.30. I'll then be away from 3G and unable to change it.

    Captain Giroud this week

COME ON YOU SEXY FROG MUNCHING BASTARD!!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,589 ✭✭✭✭Necronomicon

    Boruc
    Dawson-Terry-Zab
    Brady-Oscar-Ramsey-Ozil
    Aguero(c)-Suarez-Lukaku

    Bench: Barkley, K.Toure, Rosenior

Put Brady in for Kolo given the respective fixtures. I'm thinking of putting Rosenior in for Dawson too, but the last time I took Dawson out because of a tricky fixture on paper he got 9 points and left me banging my ahead against the wall.

    Guilty
But that's a sleep in of over 2 hours compared to week days!!!

Anyone think its worth starting Fulham's KASAMI at home to Swansea or Ravel Morrison at home to Chelsea?

What's all the Aguero captain love this week, they're playing Spurs aren't they??

There just isn't an obvious stand out choice for me (among my starting XI anyway), so I'm going with one of my form players. I don't expect a lot of goals, but you'd still fancy City to win at home against most teams and if they do the odds are he's going to be involved.

It's one of those weeks where, as an FPL manager, I tend to either fly ahead of rivals or capitulate terribly.

Our usual captain options all have tricky fixtures against solid defences. Suarez away to Everton, Aguero at home to Spurs and Ozil/Ramsey against the best defense in the league.

Could they all get attacking points. Quite possibly! But as a captain choice, I'm not sure any of them will get the massive haul I'm looking for.

    Decision made.

    Remy (c)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

I'm continuing my trend of not logging into the FPL site on Saturday morning which has brought about my revival and meteoric rise over the past month.

Aguero is captain because the guy is in serious form and at home. Yes Spurs have a solid defence but City are a different beast at home under Pellegrini and I expect to see an end to end game which should allow Spurs to feed the Andros Townsend Experience on the counter too.

I'll be spending the next few hours doing an assignment so only half an eye on Suarez so don't want that distraction if nothing else :pac: I certainly don't trust Rooney away from home to outscore that pair and today isn't the day that Ozil puts his hand up for me. Sess is an option for monday but I've had Aguero in mind for this game for over 2 weeks.

As for Remy I don't really see the appeal, he's been floating around the Newcastle attack and Norwich have only conceded 1 goal away if you don't consider Man City, Arsenal and Spurs. Today could be a real acid test for Turner. In Mickey we trust!

    Anyone recommend a 5m defender?

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 15,239 Mod ✭✭✭✭FutureGuy

Depends on who you have. Santon/Coloccini?

Have Krul, don't really want to double up on Newcastle. Thinking about a Villa defender. Would normally avoid them at all costs but have 2 clean sheets in a row and some good fixtures...

Hey guys, I don't like the look of my team this week. Aguero (C) by default, Boruc or Mignolet ? Both look unappealling, have it on the former at the moment. One main question though: is Brady fit ?

I picture a middle of the road week for myself. Around 4 points ahead of the weekly average.

Boruc, think he will be the busier of the two and get points for saves, don't fancy either for a clean sheet.

Done a quick check on my team about 3 mins before deadline to make sure everything was as I wanted. For some reason Suarez was captain, I was sure I had already moved it to Rooney earlier in the week.

Moved it to Rooney anyway, but will I be glad or not of that late check?

Confirmed #LFC team v @Everton: Mignolet, Johnson, Flanagan, Agger, Skrtel, Lucas, Gerrard, Allen, Henderson, Coutinho, Suarez

    No Sturridge

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,691 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Flanagan in for injured Enrique is interesting

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,691 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

    Barkley starts for Everton

    Sturridge doesn't start...

I've gone with McGregor in goal so hopefully he starts and Liverpool concede. Don't want any clean sheets from the early kick off - would love a goalfest now with Captain Suarez, Coutinho and Lukaku all getting on the scoresheet.

Too late for this GW, but Vlaar has been picking up momentum, his price rose during the international break.
