I see a bit of it around here. Stronger than it looks. I think it has to be buried though.

The Amount of leaks Iv seen with copper due to people's stupidity is amazing plastic wouldn't have a hope.

One fella with a petrol strimmer with a metal blade chopped a filter in half. He knew it was there and still managed to chop it

I've also come across people dumping cut grass by the oil tank, the decomposting grass (acidic) eats through the aluminium filter........

Just found this thread and was wondering about the legalities of it. Do you ask the homeowners for permission to take photos in their home and then post them on the internet or how does it work?

That's a bit harsh. Genuinely I was just interested, I'm presuming it is legal as it's on boards so I imagine it has been checked out. Just asking that's all.

Is that all?? You have little to do in fairness... No persons property is identifiable in any of the photos in fact, in most cases we don't even know what part of the country its in.

I'm sorry if I have offended you somehow. It is a reasonable question.

One, I perfume you ment well.

We don't name and shame, mores the pity.
This tread is obviously well intended to share and highlight the unusual and sometimes dangerous aspects.
It's self regulated by ourselves and the MOD'S and so far it's all been ok and good. No complaints yet.

It's no harm to a person. It's one aspect of a house that could be anywhere

Not true. I recently posted a pic of a safety valve done wrong. Turns out the safety valves brother is on boards and recognised him from the pic. I got in bother
