Jesus Ardennes just seen the car there, glad to hear your ok.

Quick question anyone here ever left there car in Dublin airport? Was looking to book mine in there for a few days this weekend.

Are you better of paying the extra to get the closer and I'm thinking more secure car park?
The cheap one is out in the sticks and a bummer if your running late. I've used quick park a good few times and found them good and cheap and the buses are reliable.

I parked my car in Bewleys Hotel underground car park. Decent prices when booked, free shuttle bus every 20 minutes or so. :)

I left my car in one of the open car parks a few years ago. The whole time I was in England trying to enjoy myself, all I could think about was my car and I kept thinking there was someone smashing the glass or joyriding in it.

Turns out I wasn't too wrong. Got back to the car and it had 5 bird bombs on it! Bastards!!!!!!

Bewleys hotel is the best option. Have left my car there the last few times and have had no hassle. free 24 hr shuttle bus too.

Every chance you get you have a dig at Japanese cars, it's gone beyond silly now, sorry fella but your posts are beginning to hurt my eyes

I'm not a big Jap head btw, that's a common misconception, older VW's and older Germany stuff float my birthday just as much as the Jap stuff.

It's well known as a joke. Same as other posters insulting my tractor or yankmobile.
I own a carina ffs, would I buy a carina if I hated japanese cars? In fact just last night I had a spin in one of the coolest cars I've ever been in, just by virtue of its sheer speed. And it was an early 90's civic (albeit modified quite a bit from stock :P ).
Get over yourself, or simply don't comment if it annoys you.

And here is a nice JAPSCRAP pic, especially for you:

Get over myself? Would you come off it, like I said it's getting painful to read. Jokes have a lifespan, nothing as boring or as silly as an overused joke.

Oh yes the Carina, now that's a joke

In fairness, I know that its built in japan by a japanese conpany, but a diesel Carina is the quintessential irish farmers car......its almost wrong to call it Japanese.

    Speaking of Japscrap :pac:

Was thinking of putting some LED lighting in my Accord (just the interior) to give it a nice bright white lighting, the Map lights, back seat lights, the door lights and the number plate lights.

Found these on ebay - would they do the job? I'm not trying to get cheap it up but I couldn't find what I wanted in my local Halford's.

Not a surprising post, or the group of yes men that thanked it :)

You are once again forgetting the individuality of a man's car. Just because I like it doesn't mean you need to even comprehend that let alone agree.
But some tolerance would be nice. For once.

Like the civic owner that you insulted a few days ago here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,728 ✭✭✭✭CianRyan

So yeah, I was caught by a hair drier.
91 in a 50 zone... When the gard showed me the gun I said out loud "ah ****!" And he just laughed at me. :o

My first time getting pulled an first time getting points, at least I got my money's worth an It wasn't for a measly 5kph. :p

I know all about the individuality of a man's car and that in the eyes of anyone else it means nothing. I suppose I'm just disappointed that a motoring enthusiasts forum, a diesel carina is being heralded as the second coming.

I never insulted anybody. Lets get that much straight right from the off. I merely stated that he ruined a perfectly nice car by putting primer on it, and making the car appear unfinished. To me (and a lot of others) that means he ruined the car. Which is a shame because underneath it is a nice car.

It's mighty hilarious doing a speed like that in a 50 zone
