A couple of cars have come up on my radar. A 2007 S40 SE 1.6D with 120k kms, a 2008 Superb 1.9 with 150k kms, (both at main dealers) and a 2005 Passat private with 240k kms but it's had new belts, clutch and dmf has summer however it has a few scratches on the bodywork.

Feedback folks.......I like the Volvo out of all of the above even if it is a bit slow. I'll be viewing on Saturday apart from the Passat which isn't available yet.

Weird of me to say this, but I probably take the Passat.

If I was to go looking though, I'd be after a Mazda 6 or a Honda Accord. I also have a thing for big French barges.

Ah but they are the same as what you sold, but a few newer numbers on a white plate.
They are a couple of steps away from:

None are going to excite anyone really. My mileage will be climbing steeply again so I want something I can hold on to and won't cost much to run.

Could you look at the arse on that yoke outside your house every day?
One of the ugliest cars on the road imo.

It's the older model and tbh I think it's expensive for what it is.
