    Nani out and Hazard in, just debating whether to take a hit on getting rid of one of my three Everton players(Coleman, Barkley, Lukaku), three Arsenal(Koscielny, Ramsey, Giroud) or two Liverpool(Mignolet, Suarez)?

    brought in olsson(norwich) and silva for vidic and barkley 4 point hit, my team needs jigging as ive dropped 5000 places to 6000 and lads are claining up with aguero

    Moses & Barkley out. Hazard & Kasami in. Will leave me with exactly enough to upgrade Giroud to Rooney as well.

    Sloppy by me this week, let Moses and Eriksen fall, had the cash to get Silva & Hazard in if I had acted quickly enough.

    Went for Silva & Brady...., cash burning a hole in my pocket at present.

    Only got round to watching MOTD2 there, Joe Hart aside the defence looked pretty ropey. Add in their goalkeeper dilemma and is it worth 6.3m to get Kompany in even though his return will fix things a fair bit?

    Starting to wish I'd sold Chester as if I don't do Kompany for Merts I've poor options this weekend assuming Chester doesn't make it.

    I got Clyne and Dawson in for Zab and Collins last week. Maybe Rangel at or Chico from Swansea.

    No Kompany back this week according to Daily Mail

    Will be staying away from City defence for now so.

    Gonna get him in for barkley myself so as to free up funds to do sturridge - aguero (as much as sturridge has been great i just can't have two pool strikers for so long!).
    He came very close to scoring against norwich the last day and for his price and return so far i think he's a handy option to have on the bench.

    That's what I did. It was between Morrison and Mutch, and my gut feeling told me to go with Mutch. Also, money is going to be very tight, and every 0.1m will count over the coming weeks.

    As for Sturridge, I decided to keep him for Liverpool's run of fixtures after the Arsenal game. Even if he only assists most of Suarez's goals, it should be worth keeping him for another few weeks (hoping). I transferred Giroud out instead.

    As a heads-up, Barkley will be dropping price tonight.

    I love the way Rooney gets me 12 points the week I think about selling him :D

    Dropping back big time the last few weeks in my leagues cause of everyone having Suarez and me not. Have Rooney,lukaku,giroud up front would you change any of them to Suarez have 2.8 in the bank. Team is

    Mig, mcgregor (who needs to go)
    Coleman,Zab,Vidic,fonte,terry
    Ozil,Ramsey,lallana,amalfitano,colback
    Rooney,giroud,lukaku

    Colback was there as a cheaper option when I had van persie

    After a bad week and a just above average week in GW 8/9 I've taken another hit this week.

    McGregor out for Boruc
    Giroud out for Aguero

    I was thinking of trying to bring Suarez in for Lukaku and have a Suarez/Sturridge frontline for GW10. I might still do it although it'll mean taking a hit and trading someone else to make up the cash. However I think Aguero is a better bet with the games Man City have coming up over the next two weeks.

    Very brave indeed, I have heard quite a few people talking about getting rid of Lukaku and I can't see the logic in it myself, I think he's only going to improve the more he plays.
    Lukaku is the 3rd best performer in FF so far this year* from what I see.
    *Based on how many minutes it has taken for him to earn each point.
    For every 10mins he plays, he has averaged 1 point, only Suarez and Aguero outperform him.

    Suarez 358 mins 46 pts = 7.8 min/point
    Aguero 585 mins 64 pts = 9.1 min/point
    Lukaku 414 mins 41 pts = 10.1 min/point

    Sturridge = 12.0 min/point
    Benteke = 16.9 min/point
    Ramsey = 11.6 min/point
    Brady = 13.4 min/point

    I haven't looked at everyone, there are just a few that stood out to look at.

    As Rabobank say, past performance is not a guarantee of future performance, but even still, I would love to have a team where Lukaku is one of my main concerns in getting him out...I have had way more critical transfers to eat away my 4 points.

    I haven't brought Ramsey in at all and arguably he's the best value for money out there, so I could have done with looking at following my own logic on that :o

    Totally agree re Lukaku, if you factor in price and make it points per minute per million quid he's far and away the best value per point forward as well as being a decent captain option. I captained him week 8 and got 4 points, but captained him against Newcastle and got 32odd. Cant believe people letting him go after only failing to net in one game for Everton.

    I just couldn't resist the nice and shiney front 3 of Rooney, Suarez and now Aguero. Lukaku has tough fixtures which means *in theory* Aguero will be the better option, Lukaku's price will drop, Aguero's will go up and in 6 weeks time I'll have doubled my points and hop back aboard the Lukaku express just in time for xmas.

    Fool proof right? :pac:

    Thoughts on Zablaeta folks?
    Thinking of moving him on - dropping in value. My biggest concern is rotation as opposed to leaky city defence. Depends who plays tonight but would not be surprised to see Richards in at the weekend..

    My plan is Giroud out for Lukaku after this weekend. Then I'll have a frontline of Aguero, Suarez and Lukaku.

    have that same front 3 aswell. Plan to switch lukaku to sturridge for gw 14 & 15 though. Pool have norwich and west ham at home in the space of 3 days whereas everton have utd and arsenal away . GW 14 is a midweek fixture.

    Cheers, must keep an eye on having the cash to do that too.

    I have two free transfers and no real urgent issues with my team. Think I'll do Aguero in for Rooney, I think Aguero is going to have a bigger year. Slightly nervous about letting him go before playing Fulham but would be worse not to have Aguero at home to Norwich!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,683 ✭✭✭✭wonski

    If I had a cash to get Aguero, I definitely would. Great fixtures coming on.

    Why did you go for minutes per point over points per minute? The results will reflect the same, just seems like an odd approach! I often see comparisons (and do them myself a lot) on FISO, FPL etc but it's always been PPM.

    I'm leaving Rooney in this week and then will think about switching in Aguero next week

    I'm really tempted to take a punt on Torres. I was at the Chelsea-Man city game at the weekend and he looked really really sharp. I'll see how he does next week to decide if he's worth bringing in for Lukaku

    Remain to be convinced that he's a certain starter, Eto will start some games yet I suspect.

    Sturridge out for Aguero for a 4 point hit anyone? Or wait 'til next week for a FT? I have Giroud and Suarez also.
