'91 G Proton behind me today between Clonmel & Cashel, can't be too many of those in Ireland. Guy was driving it on, didn't think they were that fast, AFIK they were only 1.3 petrol?

    1.3 and 1.5s from what I recall.

only sold them in Rep of Ireland for a few years

A good point - although actually - for some odd reason I think the current style plates like you get on new cars - actually suits those W123s with the year on them.

Were I fortunate enough to import one of these - id have on the year plate for that exact reason.

Im an odd creature I know

Was an unmodified one - or a cossie replica.

Have only ever seen a non Cossie 3 door Sierra once - it was a silver dutch registered 1.6 GL

Looked weird at the time because I was used to seeing Cossies in Mags, in rallies (on telly sadly) etc.

85 or 85 Corolla, had a Roscommon DI reg. Also an 88 Carina hatchback. Saw both of them at a match today, both are dailt drivers by the looks of things. Carina looked rough but they're tough old dogs.

A Cossie rep, copped the Ghia lights. Was in frozen white.... I'd love it
