I saw a 1990 Nissan 300ZX at the airport/Kinsealy earlier :D that's the first time in about 20 years I've actually seen one driving on the road (apart from my one)

Good to know there are others still left on the road!!! That made my day

Judging by the front grill it looks like it could be a rolls Royce from the prewar era it looks similar to the rolls Royce silver ghost but they were very very rare cars I think.

Two from today. Actually a double spot nearly, the E30 was just on the other side of the wall a little bit to the right of the Hiace. I've posted a picture of the Hiace before, but it looks like it has since had a bit of a tip with a dent on the back door. Its a lovely old thing, driven by an old coupe around the area, I'd swear it hasn't seen a days hard work.

I don't think I've seen the E30 around before. But a nice looking four door with hub caps is well worth a picture

Bam! Its all or nothing :D

Today I saw a 1995 300ZX, silver this time knocking around the Malahide road. It put a very big smile on my face to see another one :D Duke is it a local?

This must be a sign to drive mine more often :D

I'm not familiar with any 'Zs of that shape around the locale actually, there is a nice gold Datsun ZX though..

Here are a few bits from the carpark in Terenure college today. A bit of a mix of everything..
It always pays to have a wander around the car park at shows like this, they're always full of gems that the likes of regulars to this thread will appreciate.

Yes you will see it on a schoolday at Newpark school on Newtownpark Avenue.

Its for sale and I'm weighing things up here.

Yeh I seen them in your album on photo bucket said I'd beat you to it :) it's a fine example, the colour wouldn't do it for me but as we said before its a period colour.

Loving the beemers from the show as always :)

I think a Polish lad who lives in Enniscorthy owns that Cressida. The Golf in the car park is only a few numbers away from the 128 the aul lad had in the late 80's 228-NZL.

I saw a lovely cream coloured Cortina 1.6 Estate in Knock today. Couldn't get a pic though.

Not conforming to the rules, but perhaps of interest to someone looking mk3 escort parts.
Hungarian 2 door in Felix Gormleys yard, Cavan.

    Greystones yesterday (just the sprinter)

@ Duke - didn't make it to Ternure this year. Nice pics - I've never seen a Borgward estate before - where's that reg from?
The Isabella coupe beside it is local-ish to me, it does get out and about, not just a show queen

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,074 ✭✭✭✭Duke O Smiley

They are South African plates on the Isabella estate. I've seen similar plates on a Merc Ponton and a Wolseley 6/110 at sows in Dublin so I presume its the same guy bringing them in

Couldnt get a decent pic of it as was stopped at traffic lights

I rented a house to a Polish couple who drove here in a very ratty Chincequento. Packed tight with all their belongings. I thought they were both brave and hardy!

    Chincequento packed with their belongings?
What did they have only a carrier bag and a toothbrush ?!

you'd be surprised what a Cinque can hold with the rear seat folded. we filled my dads old one with the two of us, a folded wheelchair, 2 large suitcases and a couple of carry-on bags with room to spare. Another reason I love small, practical Italian cars (as well as big German barges)

edited to add this showroom condition little Citroen I saw in Dundrum yesterday. Crappy phone pics don't do it justice. This was immaculate. (also posted in classics section)
