It may be ... he/she will get it fixed eventually. It takes time to get those parts. And even though I'm not a fan of frenchies, that's really nice to still see it on the road.

Also that Lotus Esprit was an elusive fecker yesterday! First saw it parked in that little seaside carpark along the Clontarf Rd so got off the bike and walked in to get a photo a few moments later and it vanished - looked around again and it had driven out. Saw it again a few minutes later turning left into Mt Prospect Avenue. Then an hour later when I was coming back from Howth I saw it drive out of there while I was stopped at the traffic lights, but long gone before I managed to get the phone out!

I've seen the Esprit around Donnycarney, coming out of one of the small roads. Think it lives in around there somewhere

Ah it was only in jest, I thought it was beautiful, interior looks riginal and well kept, I'm very much a fan.

Two gems in Kimmage today. Saw the Starlet about an hour previously in supervalu up the road, it was leaving the carpark as I was going in, followed a few seconds later by a JDM e90 Corolla.

When joining the M3 from Blanch today my ears perked up when I heard a carburettored induction sound behind me. When I looked in the mirror I saw what I think was a late 70's Toyota Carina (one of the few times I've been stumped as to what it was!) dark green, kind of Bozo themed



And with a silly grin as I'd merged onto the motorway, looking behind to see if it was all clear, I wound down my window signalling the car to go by. They realized what I wanted, dropped the gears and floored it past me. There was a terrific snort out of it, stood out among all the dreary white goods sh*t on wheels all around us. I cheered and gave them the thumbs up



It's a small moment, but that made my day to say the least :cool:

Just happened to notice there that we still have the Haynes Manual - the two Escorts my folks had were both gotten rid of by circa. 2003 IIRC, so I was surprised we still have this. If anyone can find use for it, feel free to PM me.
