Is that another garage owner with a load of oldies?

    Jesus that Carina looks mint.

Am I seeing things though or does there look to be a bit of white overspray on the spare wheel well under the boot?

Ah right you are. Explains why its so neat. In spite of being bulletproof and all that any original Irish one would be battered to a pulp by now. Unusual but not unheard of to see a UK one in 1.6 guise.

I went over to England last year to look at a couple of 91/92 saloons before I bought my 90 liftback in Wexford.

They were rough! On first appearances they looked really straight but the second you got inside of them there was pools of water every where they could be collected inside the panels. Lord knows what level of disintegration the seals were really at. The levels of corrosion that peaked out from under uncovered parts of the engine bay just shouted out loud that there was a world of pain ahead for the next owner.

That said. They're so bloody comfortable to drive.

That white one above is a credit to the owner it seems.
