Was looking into getting a 12g to .410 or .22lr adapter but have decided to put it on hold for the minute until I can get a 100% certain answer from the powers that be. (I have a .410 and a .22 license)

So Im just wondering whats out there in the 12 gauge market for close range dispatching of vermin in traps. Got my hands on some 21 gram 6's years ago but havent seen them around since. Just wondering what people use. I dont want to use anything other than the gun to do the job because to be nothing but honest Im a bit of a disaster when it comes to ringing necks etc.

I've never used them, no need, but the lowest i've seen were 24grs. Think they were a 7.5 or 9. In Lakelands, i believe, some years ago. Fiocchi.

Again it's been a while and when i'm not looking for something i normally don't take note of the specifics.

About the best i can offer in terms of help.

Fiochhi do a tt21 21gr 7.5 which would do the job for you.
Should be available in most good gun shops €45 a slab I think.

Have used 12gramme two and half inch.410 adapter out of a 12 and it would barely blow the skin off a rice pudding, could be ok for indoors, .22 number 12 out of a 12 will be good for about 15 feet.

That would be absolutely perfect for me. Have called a few places and they dont stock them any more due to lack of demand I think.

28g eley 7.5 is all i can think of . just stand back a bit from the trap so you dont do too much damage.
