    www.parcelmotel.com

You can have things posted to a uk postal address. They will then deliver it to a location close to you and text you when its ready for pick up. €3.50 per parcel. Many uk online dealers will post for free to a uk address but can charge up to €50 for postage to ireland.

The first 2 or 3 parcel deliveries are free!!

I buy a lot of stuff off www.ebay.co.uk these days. Small parts, equipment etc.
Bought a grundfos pump for £200 that costs €550 here. Huge savings to be made on certain things.

bought a spring balance weighting scales off ebay for the lamb scales. €25 delivered to a northern address. 100kg scales. Got it from a fishing supplies firm. Same scales from farming supplies all seemed €30 dearer. Chinese made, so time Will tell I suppose.

Remember Whelan, crazy shipping prices are a known scam for eBay type retailers rather than the shipping being expensive. They're living in hope of hooking an unsuspecting punter with a deal and then sting them with shipping.

i was lead to believe that the idea behind all of this was that what ever you sell on ebay the company gets a % of sale price so everyone gets around this by selling at a low price so ebay gets peanuts, and over charge on postage to get the real value back.:(

I found a big vice on e-bay when money was plentiful, about 2008. 85 euro, I reckoned id sell it for a lot more and make handy 50 quid. so I made the opening bid. then I copped the shipping, it wasn't light and would have probably cost more that the bid I made! it was also in the UK. I was crapping it until a few hours before the auction at which point I was the only bidder! some bidding began in the last hours, whew!
