Japgt is spot on. Just to show you an example i contacted my FO on Friday afternoon (about 16:30) with a request to re-print a license (same as issuing a license) as my first one had an error on it.

He done it while i was on the phone to him, and this morning at 10am the new licenses were in the post box. Excluding the weekend that is a two day turn around.

My new licenses are done in approx the same period. The longest i've waited was 3 days. So you'll be shooting by the weekend. :D

Sounds like a nice gun and as long as you're happy with it that's all that matters.

Stick up a picture when you get.

    Congrats.

Suppose it may depend on your area your living in.
Likes of the country would be quicker but areas were crime is fairly high take longer.

Think you might have read that wrong. He is not applying for it he has already done that, been granted and paid. It is the time taken to get the license after paying the grant that he is asking about.

hey lads still no licence in the post today..looks like ill be waiting the 7 day :(

That's disappointing. Hopefully they won't make a liar out of me and you'll have it in the morning.

Make sure when you do get it that you check the date, and serial number, details of gun on the license as mistakes can happen.
