Yeah, she's in for a crew change, also ETD41/48 is being operated by A6-AFE an A330-300 which is a nice upgrade from the usual -200.

sort of, the new ATR's have all have ADB-S transponders, the older ones you can see because there is some M-LAT coverage over the Irish sea now.

    hope that helps

    Engine de-icing issues I believe.

RYR805 diverting to Dublin now, some instrument problem, something to do with monitoring engine vibrations.

Does anyone have access to an IFR chart for the Dublin area to show where all the common approach/SID points are while listening to ATC/FR24, might help alot.

    Lots of charts here http://www.iaa.ie/safe_reg/iaip/aip_eidw_charts.htm

    or

    http://skyvector.com/airport/EIDW/Dublin-Airport

    Maybe suitable.

I have the IAA ones Mech1, the Skyverctor ones are more what I'm after, thanks for the link.

It would be nice to overlay this onto FR24 while listening to your feed.
Wonder if they have any plans for this type of improvement to the site at
    some stage?

    I use the IAA charts.

I've often thought that the overlay would be good. It'd save me swapping tabs and keep everything on the same scale.

Sorry for the poor cropping. I was in a rush to stick my head out the window and have a look at it

What happened here? First approach looks a little "off" to say the least! Landed just now.

New to this Forum! Regularly looking skyward and wondering where the airlines passing overhead were heading or coming from - Midlands based here ! Found the Flightradar app and have it on my iPhone now, so just finding my way around the app so far.
Last night, I was looking at inbound flights to Shannon around 9.30pm and noticed an Aer Lingus flight from UK do several circuits of south Clare/Kerry and then onward to Dublin - was it weather conditions or what that prevented it landing at Shannon ? A short while later, a Ryanair flight into Shannon did similar circuits but eventually landed there - I see from weather forecast that heavy rain and wind in south yesterday - does that explain ? or was the airport closed for some reason or other ?
Also, any hints or tips for a new user to Flightradar would be great - can I download it also for Windows/laptop use ?
    Thanks !

Great to hear you've got the bug!

I'm not sure if there's a Windows App but there is a Mac app. In the meantime you can always use www.flightradar24.com

I'm Flying on Aer Lingus Regional EI3352 in the morning at 10am and the TAF as from Boards member Roblestone is "BECMG 2610/2612 20018G29KT="

Thats some crosswind. Should be interesting on the ATR :)

I wouldn't worry about that, Roblestone is grossly exaggerating the effects. Totally normal operations as they will just use runway 16, meaning the wind will only be around 40 degrees off the nose.

But even off runway 28 it's still no big deal.
