What makes you guys think these?

Rapid descent like that, they'd have to decompress for a descent like that, its one of only 2 reasons I can think of, it must be serious, ATC asking a/c type, souls on board and so on

I think the TAP said they won't be needing any fire assistance and they're fine to go to stand now.

That was scary from just monitoring it here. I'd hate to think how scary it was for the passengers. I hope all is okay.

CDG & ORY are reasonably far apart compared to another major city with multiple airports ie. think London. CDG & LBG are quite close though

Don'y you pass LBG on the train into Paris from CDG? (As well as Stade de France)

You do indeed. RER line B stops at Le Bourget station which is about a 10-15 car ride to LBG itself. I did the tour of the air and space museum there which is very much worth a look. You get out to the ramp for a wander and you can see the aircraft actually lifting off from the runways at CDG on a clear day.

Dublin finally getting an A380 service from Emirates, will be flying in the next couple of weeks to test airport facilities namely taxiways and maneuvering space, speculation of an A380 start date all going well by end of September! :)

Read it on PPrune, the lad who posted it is very reliable have to say, nothing on news outlets yet, I would guess he spotted it in the GDS.

How's that going to work? Dublin doesn't have a gate to accommodate an A380, they'll need to modify one or shuttle pax to a remote stand. Also is the runway long enough for it to take off with a decent load?

Without knowing the exact wingspan requirements for the A388, if you parked it on 404R at T2, closed of Yankee, You'd park it fine!

The A380 can operate into DUB, if it is just a special occasion. Regular scheduled A380 flights would be a headache. The problem would be that a regular service would cause issues in relations to taxiway clearance jetbridge usuage and stand allocation...thus impacting other aircraft. The physical runway is not an issue.

Did EI356 have a birdstrike on takeoff at about 16:50 today out of Dublin? It didn't return to the airport but listening to liveatc I heard something about a runway inspection a bit later on and that flight was mentioned. Didn't notice anything on Flight Radar. Could be wrong.
