@prso9 @easyJet would be nice if staff made an effort to keep all the passengers including several children informed!

    .....................Wow. Just wow.

Seems it could be heading to DUB now you know. Definitely based at STN but has been known to overnight at DUB occasionally for obvious reasons.

Falxon 7X N496AC went over Dubllin and Liverpool this morning at an impressive 47,000 ft. Must be some view from up there...

Operates for Exelon Corporation, a big power generator based in Chicago.

I wondered that - what is the highest altitude on FR on a given day? I know biz jets go over and above the commercial jets. Drones are excluded as well! (at FL660 in the States last week per the thread links).

Service ceiling for Boeing 737 Next Generation is 41,000ft (FL410) - For the Airbus A320 family its 39,000ft (FL390) should be pointed out though that the A319CJ and A321 have a ceiling height of 41,000ft (FL410).

The highest non-military I've logged is 51,000 ft for a couple of GLEX back in late 2013.

You can set an FR24 filter to only show aircraft above, say, 45,000 and then zoom out to a global scale!

Another fun one is looking for aircraft that are apparently supersonic by groundspeed ( but of course subsonic by airspeed ) due to tail-winds. Often off the eastern Japanese coast.

    Dubai Royal Air Wing.

It doesn't look like it was in for maintenance or anything, it was only here for a few hours.
