Lovely kick from JJ, 6-3 up. Maul was superb there.

Butler gives away penalty for going off feet 6-6

    Silly from butler

Agreed, I think he'll be fighting it out with Hurley and Felix for 15 in the HC.

In the future, maybe one of Conway/Earls/Zebo, even LOD could potentially be challenging too, particularly when GVDH arrives.

I'm a huge Hurley fan, and have never been overly impressed with Murphy during his spell with Munster, but he's looked excellent this season and I'd have him in pole position now.

    Stupid penalty conceded again, 6-6.

Started out well, just dragged at the end. Was a tough kick tbf.

    Bad from JJ.
I think Sheridan's passing is looking less snappy than usual.

Sheridan's passing is a little inconsistent. Reached a stationary Hanrahan a couple of times.

Just sloppy, kinda funny really :P

Right about Sheridan. Some of his choices for when to break haven't been that great either... Seems like he's trying to force it a bit too much.

GAA catch and flick from JJ. High-risk...but it worked.

This game is a bit **** to be honest.

In fairness to the Dragons, their defence has been quite good so far.

That was brilliant from Varley, pass way behind him.

Maybe just need to keep the ball tight for a while.

Munster get a promising lineout, but knock on for the 32nd time.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

Varley almost messed up with the throw, brilliant from DOC to reclaim but then another knock-on. Too many mistakes.

Is it just me or does Sheridan look a little uncomfortable passing off his left?

  • Registered Users Posts: 967 ✭✭✭Anatidaephobia

    Cronin try following lineout steal.

Edit; it was Foley again with the steal.

    Well done Johne.

I'm obviously a good bit behind you :P

    Good try.

Dineen did very well in the build-up.

Nice finish by Cronin, the S4C guys must know Sheridan personally, keep calling him Cathal.

    Zebo imitating ROG v Scotland.

    Awful from Zebo, shocking execution.

That had been one of our best phases of play before that.

Cronin seems to be a handy scrimmager, why didn't we use him Last year?

nice to see some young props coming through seems there was an emphasis put on it after the england fiasco a few years ago

Lads ye're in the studio for supposedly live coverage of a rugby match, we've seen the hurling, half the rugby match has taken place. Now it was a great hurling match but is there any chance ye can actually describe the rugby?

    It has.

But we should mix it up a bit. Their lineout is poor, ours is well on top, a few kicks in behind when they're rushing up would put them on the backfoot. Also, a few more garryowens with more than one chaser, we seem to be well on top in all the aerial duels- with Earls, POM, Hanrahan all claiming really well.

Not a great first half, but we have the lead. I think we miss someone like Laulala in the centre.

Dunno what the Dragons are about any more.
