One of Dan Parks trademark jinky spinny runs... :/

Good man Parks, backed himself well

    Brilliant team effort.

Fionn's hand off of a hooker... very nice.

Props to to Carr for putting the sit down on a hooker

Have Irish teams decided to forgo the formality of tackling this season?

It's the ex-Super XV coaching I tells ya!

Do any of the teams employ defense coaches currently?

    Ulster dominating the breakdown already

No effort from Jackson to get out of the way and Ulster get the penalty?!

Just hoping that Henry is up to it, was certainly putting himself about against Wasps in the preseason game, carried a lot of ball.

Would like to think that Harris Wright will come back on (not sure if its blood related), he has proved himself to be a solid player.

    Good try

Carr should really have stuck to the winger there, have to trust your inside man

Hmm interesting decision by Connacht to concede that try, we'll have to see how that pays off for them

You have to think after all this time will he ever learn, he's been around for a long time now

and completely wasted by some awful hands then. Frustrating

    Eoin Griffin enjoyed that!

    Great hit from Griffin there.

Connacht are trying to push the game too much though, tip my hat for them trying to play an expansive game, but some of these passes never look like coming off

    This is so clumsy.

Jeez if that pass had come off from Henshaw that would have been something else. He's very good at getting those hands free

Some huge hits. If Henshaw had pulled off that offload it would have been brilliant. Great vision to even attempt it

Awful from Jackson... I mean that never even looked close to being a good kick.

Marmion looking very good so far.

jaysus. Jackson just doesn't look right out there. Marshall seems a lot more composed as first receiver

  • Administrators Posts: 53,553 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    :(

Connacht are far more dangerous than we are.

    should be involved with Ireland

I don't like the commentators talking about how Connacht "aren't just here to make up the numbers." Ulster haven't won a game this season. Connacht have. Connacht are at home. Connacht should be expecting to win this game and really put Ulster under pressure.

Saying that, BBC NI has never been the most balanced of platforms for comment.
