Blanchardstown are new in the leagues as the other three. In many cases, players have moved from other clubs (Elm Mount, Rathmines) to play for a club nearer where they live, I think.

This particular Blanchardstown team (the one that got promoted to the O'Hanlon) is new but the club has been around for a few years. They've been playing the league since 2010 (http://www.leinsterchess.com/lcu1011/div6/table.htm).

I think that was a different club, technically. It has a couple of the same members, but that's only to be expected.

    Could be wrong though.

Same club. Last year's Blanchardstown 1 is practically the same team that played in 2010. One of them will probably join the John Delaney's O'Hanlon team this year, as he's the second highest rated player in the club after JD.
