Is that stuff easy to get Tomcat, would B&Q stock it or are we talking specialist places only?

Hi Vegeta,i picked it up years ago from a foundry .
I used it to make molds for casting aluminium to copy architectural once off parts .
Would not think it hard sourced or expensive !

Don't use the play sand as it's to fine and will leak out of the seams.

Next is not to put to much thinking into this. Builders sand is what I use and it does the job.
People also use rice but I didn't like the idea of it smelling if it got wet.

    Avoid rice at all costs.

It never settles, will not give proper stability and as said if it gets wet then it's a nightmare. Stick with sand for ease.

Blasting grit is nice and heavy makes the bag very stable.
