You're welcome eddhorse! I saw a demo of Raspbmc on YouTube there earlier and it honestly didn't seem that slow to me wether the content was accessed over the network or via a HDD.

Certainly not enough for me to not want to have it as a media device connected to my TV.

I'll have to play about with it myself during the week anyway to see which one performs best as there is more than one.

You're dead right eddhorse it is handy that you can just swap out an SD card and turn it into a totally different device.

Ok thanks to Mr Vestek, I officially want a Raspberry Pi. Fantastic set of videos man, really a job well done.

@Steve, offer of a loan much appreciated man. Honestly though I won't get near a Raspberry project until well into the new year so it'd only be sitting there gathering more dust!

I'll buy one in Jan maybe. Is the V2 one the one to go for yeah?

No probs, let me know if you change your mind.

The latest revision of the board has mounting holes as well as somewhere you can solder on some headers and hook up a button to reset the board by shorting some pins(I used a small arcade button).
The GPIO pins are also changed a bit and the resetable fuses on the USB have been removed, so you have some better power options.

I have a nice little project I'm working on at the moment for the Pi and the camera module. But having some design problems and I really dont want to cut up the "case" its going into.

Been subscribed to him since he was mentioned in a RayWilliamJohnson video.

His videos are excellent. Although for somebody trying to lose weight he still drinks alot of Mountain Dew.

As somebody constantly trying to lose weight themselves sugary drinks are lethal.

Its no tekken 3 or tekken tag for that matter imo.

I was addicted to tekken 3 in school. I like the first 2 instalments dont get me wrong but Tekken 3 just blew me away.

I only played Tekken Tag for the first time about a year ago on PS2 and I'd go as far saying I like that even more than 3. The tag dynamic really adds to the game.

I tried playing Tekken 5 but so far havent gotten into it. Seems a bit fast or something for my liking. I went back to Tekken Tag very quickly.

All of the above must be played with Namco Arcade stick for maximum Tekken enjoyment though. Although thats probably a seperate arguement. :D

...edit... Good video by the way. Most enjoyable.

Good god. I mean, I've heard about this game but never actually bothered looking at it. I see now what all the fuss is about, it's horrific

    What the actual ****?

The cinematic intro looks like it was a graphical demo for something completely unrelated to Sonic, and they just slapped it in and tried to clone the female character with much lower Res graphics! WTF!

So we have all seen piano covers of our favourite video game tunes,
but Tom Brier is a little bit different...

He has the ability to "sight read" music
i.e. he can play a song on first attempt without ever even hearing it before,
by reading the sheet music and playing instantly...

He can also mix up the sequence and add his own style / remix the song on the fly...

Nyan Cat was a bit of a nemesis for Tom, but he wasn't long figuring it out!

Plenty more videos of him playing other video game tracks here:
