I have dental floss stuck in my tooth

And it won't come out!

I have a crooked tooth at the bottom and the floss got lodged between it and another tooth. So I yanked the dental floss and as it knotted up at the back of my tooth and got stuck. I've managed to pull bits out with the tweezers but now, there's a little bit left that I can't get a grip of. It's doing my head in!

Should I try and dislodged it with more dental floss?

If it is a front tooth you could disguise it with some cabbage or spinach if you live in the US.

If I'd stuck to the pube method, as per normal, I wouldn't be in this mess!

I'm gonna try more floss. If more gets lodged, I'll have to call for the pubes.

Use a grenade to dislodge the offending floss, but be careful, place the grenade in the mouth, push your tongue up the roof of your mouth, tightly close your eyes, and then pull the pin, hey presto, no more unwanted dental floss or indeed, loose teeth.
Please don't attempt this method indoors or in close proximity to small children, it should ideally be executed as close as possible to a hospital 'accident & emergency' department.

Try biting on a crispy apple. The hard skin should dislodge it, if that doesnt become stuck too.

Good idea, all this pube talk is making me queasy.

I didn't realise dental floss was so lethal. Wrapped it round my finger and it stopped the blood flow! This teeth maintenance is dangerous work.

I have no helpful advice, Strawberry, but the talk of pubes has me in stitches, mainly cos whenever I hear someone say "pubes", I automatically say "poobs" in my mind, American-style.
Don't ask me why-it's just something I saw on telly years ago.

Ah here fussy, I live in Leitrim. Less of ya fancy long named jalopies! I was lucky enough to find dental floss. Normally its pubes or bailing twine.
