Not sure if ya get beta access with g2play as they send ya the key when the game is released I think.

I bought it off Greenmangaming last year cause they had 35% discount voucher.

This year they are supposed to have 25% off but the voucher doesn't work for me.

Also they have annoyed me by charging it €49.99 while for the US it's $49.99 and for the UK it's about £34. Euro currency countries getting fleeced :rolleyes:

Well on g2play at the minute it is 35 Euro which isnt to bad.

Got it off 365games.co.uk for £24.99. Digital download with beta included. Works out at just under 30 euro

I don't know anything about that website but Sigames forum posters recommended it

Looks like nuuvem have it at 60 Brazilian Real, works out at a little over €20. I got FIFA 14 off them at the same price without any problems. Might give it a go. Requires some use of proxys and messing around though.

Presume that doesn't come with Beta Access. Would order right now if it did, but i see no mention of it at all in the description.

It is available (with Beta Access) on 365games for €35 and €31. I presume the €35 one is a physical copy of the disc as the €31 one specifically says Code by Email.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Have you activated the product through steam yet or are you waiting for 17th? Miles Jacobsen is keeping it hush hush, not really being drawn on it (the beta release). But according to himself, the beta will be available approximately 2 weeks before the release of the full game on the 31st of October.

Ordered from 365games on Saturday, got my Beta code by e-mail yesterday. It said the code won't work until the Beta is released though. So it can't be activated yet!

Yep hard copy and a beta code 2 weeks before release. Just be careful with delivery timeframe. You might not get it til the week after release

Would i be correct in saying though you would still be able to download the full game, or do you have to play the Beta until the hard copy comes.

The beta will stop working after release. So if it hasn't arrived by the time theft turn it off you'd be out of luck.


I haven't bothered with a physical copy this year cause in the past I've only used it to install it and then it's left taking up space and gathering dust on my shelf!

I went with this a few weeks ago, looks like I've got my code for the BETA now, won't be able to test it till later, I'll let you all know how I get on with it.

You just need to log into your Steam account. That keeps a record of all your purchases and allows you to download the game again.

Yes you enter the code in Steam and it allows you to download it then. I think Steam is the only way to play the game

I tried that first. Paypal transaction went through for $35, but didn't add the order to my GMG account.

Emailed support who said they were having issues with Paypal, and I'd be refunded. That was Wednesday, and I'm still waiting on a refund.

Needless to say I bought it elsewhere for a couple of euro more and got a key straight away.

They probably realised you are not from the states. If you want to hurry them up for a refund then open up a buyer dispute for non receipt on PayPal. It only takes a minute to refund on PayPal and shouldn't be taking days.

Gmg shows pricing to me in USD by default, even though I'm in Europe (Slovakia). So I doubt there should be an issue like that - I bought it in USD and roughly the same price last year from them.

They've not replied to my email asking for an update yesterday either.

Poor form from them really - won't be using them again that's for sure.

Going to have to email again, if I still don't have a refund by the end of the day I'll go down the Paypal dispute road (even though they said it would delay the refund in their original email to me..heh)

Have a few questions regarding the Beta and Football Manager 14.

First off is where is the best place to download the beta from i.e the cheapest?

And the second is, my laptop is away getting fixed at the minute and i'm mad to get playing football manager, i've downloaded steam onto the girlfriends computer and i'm going to log into my account is it just a case of downloading it to my steam account? Can I log back into my steam account on my laptop and continue playing it when I get my laptop back without any problems?

Ive used g2play.net numerous times and no hassle. got fm14 today and the beta key 5 minutes later.

Do I wait for support to get to me or do I set up a new account and get the beta onto that?

Found another code that is working as of 30 seconds ago, the other one must have been deactivated. GMG25-GRV7N-YY833

That is for 25% off, so it will bring the price down to $37.50. If you can get the site to show in $.

Seen a few lads on another site saying, they ordered of Amazon, got the code straight away and then cancelled their Order with Amazon,meaning they got the code for free. A few people are saying its working too.
