while browsing fridges for a deer cooler I found this page. It seems coca cola retain possession of the fridge, so just a heads up to anyone looking to buy one, not sure if there is much truth to it but still it would be horrible to buy a fridge and find out that coca cola are the real owners of it and they want it back. depending on them finding out its been sold on to you of course.

Would have thought as much. When i was younger i used to work in a shop. We'd get a new fridge every now and then from Coke to advertise and store the minerals. I always assumed they remained cokes property as they usually collected the old fridges on delivery of the new one and the shop did pay for the fridges.

After saying that how likely would it be for Coke to follow up each person that bought a fridge. Track them down, and try to have it returned? They are more likely to try and shut down any person selling them en masse?

Id imagine that it would be hard to track down who has them etc, but just a heads up to anyone buying one.

Wonder how they found the lads address that bought the fridge from eBay, he more than likely was bragging that he bought a fridge and gave his address and that's where the contact came from.

Legal request through a solicitor to E-bay would make them produce the seller's details. Then through that they find out the buyer.
